“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and truly hated to leave. I was a little apprehensive about being riverside as opposed to beachview; however, the harbor view was exactly what we needed! It was so peaceful and quiet! The screened porch was great for birdwatching and offered a magnificent, relaxing view of the harbor. We loved that there was a full bath for each bedroom; the master bath was really awesome. Loved the kitchen; it was easy to prep meals and set a lovely table too! The laundry room was also a plus; no dirty clothes to take home! If we get to return to Jekyll, I hope we will be able to stay here! My daughter would like to move here!”

“Had an amazing stay here. There’s a lot of local restaurants and shopping, everyone was friendly. They kept changing the gate codes everytime we left/came back in without notifying us, and when we called the woman receptionist was rude. there is no way to get to the beach without walking through 2 1/2 feet of very murky water. hopefully they are working on a bridge. we asked for more necessities (we stayed a week) and they told us to go to the store (we did) but bring everything you need. overall we had a great time. also anything bigger than a car had to park in a outer parking lot. The parking garage doesn’t fit any vehicles larger. Overall great place to stay, would love to visit again.”

“outside of the house is a mess, pictures on Internet definitely dated , landscaper's came and blew leaves around instead of picking them up. definitely needs some TLC. Inside house was fine everything we needed to be comfortable. we had a good time, when we come back we'll stay somewhere else”

“This is the first scathing review I have ever written for an Airbnb, and I’m only writing it because the price point demands honesty. Location: 5 stars. Beautiful views, easy beach access, spacious layout. If this were a budget rental, I might overlook the rest. But at $800 a night, I can’t. The condition of the unit was a real disappointment. There was black mold in the shower tile, the shower puddled while in use, the baseboards were dirty, and the upholstery was in poor enough shape that I put towels down before sitting on it. The coffee maker was clogged and visibly dirty, and there was sand on the bathroom floor when we arrived. We spent time deep cleaning upon arrival; it felt clear that turnovers consist of little more than swapping the sheets. This property needs a serious remodel and a real cleaning standard before it’s worth what it charges. I went in with high hopes for a Hodnett Cooper property and came out unwilling to book another. Future guests deserve a heads up.”

“The location and the condo were perfect! There were 3 of us (girlfriends) and our stay was for 4 nights and 5 days. When we got to our condo: 1) we only had one washcloth per guest for our entire stay….and 2) one of the bathrooms only had 1/2 toilet roll when we arrived and we had to go buy 2 more rolls on our 2nd day there. Also, on our 2nd day of our stay - when housekeeping came to bring us more wash clothes and toilet paper, we were given 4 more washcloths and 1 roll of toilet paper….”

“Beach Access was boarded off. One of the main reasons we chose this property was due to the fact that it advertised beach access adjacent to the property. The beach access was boarded off. With three small children this meant loading all the gear into the car to drive to public access beaches and working around nap schedules rather than a quick walk back to the house. We were very satisfied with the house itself and the Host was responsive to our requests and questions. Our only disappointment was the Beach Access was not as advertised.”
