“Beautiful house. Not walkable to the beach. I expect if I am renting a house this size for a week, then I expect shampoo, conditioner, dishwasher detergent, kitchen trash bags to be provided. We had to buy more kitchen trash bags. When I tried to sit on the back porch, I couldn’t because the umbrella was covered in webs and bugs as if it hadn’t been opened or cleaned in months. In a house with 4 bedrooms, we were provided only one parking pass for the beach, which was inconvenient. Overall, very comfortable house, quiet neighborhood.”

“We enjoyed our stay immensely. Our 18 month old granddaughter especially loved walking to the lake in front of our unit looking at the birds. We also enjoyed our bike rides to the beach. The condo was very comfortable and meet our needs. The beds were very comfortable. Overall we give it a 10.”

“We loved our stay here!!! We had 5 ladies on a girls trip and this was a perfect stay for us. Super walkable to the beach and to the Coligny Beach Plaza. We felt super safe here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay”

“Envelope was missing instruction sheet to Check-in then via phone call door codes didn't work until 3 were tried. screen door broken and bathrm sink drain didnt drain. neither fixed during stay. black mold "stains" on fridge door seals. bugs and dust throughout, floors black. cleaners sent day 2 but mopping without changing water will not clean floors. Location to pool excellent. only 1 beach parking pass provided. beach way too far for small kids or elderly to walk. home interior and layout good. beds ok. could have used more bed pillows and beach towels would have been nice. no welcome basket provided or special touches. only 2 laundry and dishwasher pods for a whole week. only high heat available for clothes dryer. no drying rack but lots of hangers in closets. kitchen items worked ok for our needs but some could be upgraded and not much to use for food storage. beach gear credit nice for bikes, beach chairs, and cart.”

“It was a great stay! Ck in was just different then I have ever had to deal with is why I rated it lower. It was fine, just didn’t realize you had to make a separate stop before getting in.”

“We had a mixed experience with this stay. The unit itself is very nice, and Villamare is a beautiful property with great pools and easy beach access in Palmetto Dunes. Unfortunately, our stay was impacted by ongoing construction that wasn’t communicated ahead of time. There was active work throughout our visit, and each day workers and a boom lift were directly outside our windows. This meant we couldn’t use the balconies, had little privacy, and dealt with frequent noise. We also had to walk through construction areas and the parking lot to reach the pool and beach, rather than the pathways shown in the listing photos. Which was stressful with young children. I reached out to the management company to express my concerns about the difference between the listing and our experience. While they initially acknowledged my message, I never received a follow-up. Villamare is wonderful, but I recommend confirming construction before booking.”
