“We enjoyed our stay immensely. Our 18 month old granddaughter especially loved walking to the lake in front of our unit looking at the birds. We also enjoyed our bike rides to the beach. The condo was very comfortable and meet our needs. The beds were very comfortable. Overall we give it a 10.”

“The house matched the description well. Living space was large and bright with ample casual seating. Very large dining table ( inside and out) with a massive inventory of dishes, cups & glasses and silverware. House was private and offered easy access to beach ( walking) and golf was at end of road. Pool was not open at time of visit but hot tub was ( although both were in need of a clean to be at their best). All bedrooms were comfy with good bedlinen and plenty of tools.”

“We loved our stay here! It was perfect for two children ages 8 and 6. We were able to walk to many places, one being a fun playground across the street. Getting to the beach was very easy and the pool was huge! We would definitely stay here again.”

“Beautiful home and a great location. Some constructive feedback in hopes it helps others. We selected this home for my parents’ 50th anniv. celebration. They are 75 and 77 years old and expected to use the elevator. The elevator was not working when we arrived and was not fixed for the entire time we stayed, even though we had expected it to and that was a large part of selecting the home. Was told by management that it would be hard to find someone to repair the elevator on a Friday, but yet I’m not sure he tried because we never had any more communication about the subject. We just dropped it, realizing it was a losing battle that I didn’t want to fight all weekend. The thermostat was not easily regulated by guests and it was very hot in the home the entire time. Was told by the manager just to open the doors and windows, which we didn’t wish to do. This Airbnb is actually managed by a company, not a host so did not get the personal host attention typical with Airbnb.”

“We had a mixed experience with this stay. The unit itself is very nice, and Villamare is a beautiful property with great pools and easy beach access in Palmetto Dunes. Unfortunately, our stay was impacted by ongoing construction that wasn’t communicated ahead of time. There was active work throughout our visit, and each day workers and a boom lift were directly outside our windows. This meant we couldn’t use the balconies, had little privacy, and dealt with frequent noise. We also had to walk through construction areas and the parking lot to reach the pool and beach, rather than the pathways shown in the listing photos. Which was stressful with young children. I reached out to the management company to express my concerns about the difference between the listing and our experience. While they initially acknowledged my message, I never received a follow-up. Villamare is wonderful, but I recommend confirming construction before booking.”
