“Everything about our stay was great! The house was beautiful and had enough space for our group. The pool was awesome and we spent most of the days we were there outside. The area is so beautiful. I do want to note though that the upstairs shower is a bit slippery and the porch as well outside. Other then those things it was absolutely perfect”

“Nice house, around 7 mins from Wimberley main street. Location provides you a private / quiet place that allows us to rest and still provide quick access to bar and restaurants. Nice backyard with grill. Only issue that is not clearly mention in the description, is the bathroom / bedroom distribution on the second story. You have the master bedroom with a bath and 2 additional rooms that share the dame bath and have to go thru the master bedroom to use the bathroom, that is weird. First floor has 2 bedroom and 2 baths. Depending on your family size or number of couples, the upstair bedroom/bathroom distribution is not easy. Other than that, great house and great location. We were 4 couples and were able to manage it. I think families with kids can manage this issue easier.”

“Wonderful home, with a great location. River access was wonderful, the house was secluded and peaceful. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the fire pit and grill area were perfect for hanging out.”

“The property was just as we’d hoped. Every room was nice, and the property had all the amenities. The location is great; we hopped around to different locations like Canyon Lake and rivers super easily. And we also very much enjoyed hanging at the rental!”

“The outdoor space lived up to the photos; the river access, grounds, and setting made for a great place to relax. The indoor experience didn't match. Our fridge wasn't cooling on night one, and the host's first response suggested we'd loaded it wrong rather than acknowledging a problem, which felt dismissive. It never worked for our full three-night stay, forcing us to buy ice, use a cooler, and toss groceries. We also noticed ceiling water stains, possible water damage/mildew on baseboards, missing bathroom trim, and drywall separating from the tub liner, minor individually, but together the interior felt under-maintained. Communication was slow (often 12+ hours), and a partial refund wasn't offered until after checkout and repeated follow-up from us. To their credit, the hosts did make it right once we pushed. We weren't expecting luxury, just a working, well-maintained home.”

“It was a gorgeous peace of land and the home was accommodating. The beds are also very cozy, however the strong sulfer smell the water puts off is a bit unsettling. Water is well, but do not consume. The additional documentations and security deposit wasn't clearly stated and I had to pay an unexpected $500 deposit to even access the property. I missed the message that requested this so when we arrived and realized we still didn't have access instructions we we were jumping through last minute hoops in order to get inside the gate. Upom checkout both gate were finicky and we got stuck for a bit before we could exit. I didn't even bothered with messaging the host because she didn't respond the first time I reached out about the hot tub not heating correctly. So the hot tub is more like bath water, jets don't operate correctly either.”
