“Sylvia, the host was so responsive. We had a problem with the AC in one of the bedrooms. She sent out a service repairer and it took less than an hour to fix. We had to reset the tv after a storm and she graciously walked us through getting it back up and running. There was more than enough room for six adults and two babies. We will be thinking of this property again for our next family vacation.”

“This was an amazing place to stay. The few minor issues we encountered, Syliva was both extremely responsive and proactive. If you want privacy and quiet, this is the place. It's about 20-30 minutes outside Pigeon Forge and very private and relaxing. The views are unmatched. We didn't want a minute of TV the entire week we were there and didn't miss it--nothing could beat sitting on the porch, overlooking the National Park and watching the sunset. We really enjoyed our stay!”

“Our family of four had a wonderful stay! The home is absolutely gorgeous, and the mountain views are stunning. There was plenty of space for all of us, and we really appreciated how clean, organized, and clutter-free everything was. Sylvia was an excellent host and was very responsive when we had a couple of very minor issues. She addressed them right away. The road leading up to the house is very steep with a few switchbacks- exactly what you’d expect for a home perched high in the mountains. It wasn’t an issue at all during the summer, but I imagine it could be more challenging in snowy or icy conditions. We had a fantastic experience and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. We highly recommend this property!”

“We just returned from 5 nights in this beautiful cabin. The location was so beautiful. You cannot hardly even put into words how awesome the view is from both balconies. We even got to experience being in the clouds one evening. You are about 20 minute drive into town but it is so nice to be away from the noise. Cabin had a theater room that you can stream movies and a fun game room. Spent a lot of time playing games and just hanging out. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking or a nice start to the day while watching the sunrise. The host was great and very responsive. Definitely recommend this wonderful place for some time away with family or friends. Hope to come back again.”

“We loved everything about “Thunder on the Mountain”. The house was very clean and comfortable. Furnishings were very nice and everything was in new condition. Beds were very comfortable. Views from the multiple decks were beautiful and the top deck with protective roof made a very enjoyable place to eat outside on the picnic table. We really enjoyed watching movies on the 85” smart TV in the theater room. The kitchen was well furnished and we appreciated the upgraded appliances. The location was perfect…far enough from Pigeon Forge to feel like we were in the wilderness but close enough to grocery stores and restaurants when we decided to venture out. Communications with the host were great. We would like to stay here again if we return to the Smoky Mountains area.”
