Hidden Haven Vacations's guest rating of 4.76 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Pros: We had a great time. House was clean and well apportioned. Lower-level projection TV was awesome and stayed dry even during tropical-storm force winds. We had an issue with a noise in the attic and the host had someone out the next day to resolve it. Good kitchen utensils and a nice grill set. Cons: Only complaint is the "hidden fee" charging $100 for sheets that we didn't know about until five days before. Technically, it was in the small print; however, no one looks for a "sheet fee" in 2026. We felt really bamboozled and strongly suggest that the host simply be transparent and add the cost of the sheets to the total price when booking. It wouldn't have changed our decision and instead I wouldn't have had a bitter taste in my mouth before even getting to the house feeling like I was taken advantage of. And to make it worse, the sheets were really poor quality (thin and papery). Overall would recommend highly. Just be honest upfront about all costs.”airbnb

“The cabin was clean, although there were ants in the kitchen daily. The tub needs repaired and seemed a little sketchy while showering. I would also say that the mattress and boxspring need to be replaced. I agree with others that the parking is challenging. I drive a sedan and the parking was even difficult for me. It was a decent stay if you’re looking for something cheap with a great location to all area attractions.”airbnb

“Very disappointed with this rental due to the host not responding, we paid to check in early and was not able to check in early but the host would not respond to us. The 4th bedroom did not match the picture online when I first looked at the home. I”airbnb

“The host was very responsive and did send someone out quickly when we reported the AC issue. Unfortunately, the house was 81° when we arrived and only cooled to around 77° overnight. With a 4-year-old and an infant, we could not stay in those conditions and had to leave. The most disappointing part was that the host told me over the phone he would provide a full refund, but ultimately did not follow through. I understand AC problems can happen, but keeping your word and following through on what you promise is important. I appreciate the initial communication, but the overall experience was very disappointing, and based on how everything was handled, I would not book this property again.”airbnb

“The cabin was beautiful and I would definitely stay there again. It had peaceful surroundings and was close and driveable to everything. The only thing that was negative is that the front door would not lock and I was only responded to once. Other than that it would have been perfect.”airbnb

“It was alright there weren’t enough towels and they said they’d bring some and didn’t so I just bought my own but the place itself was pretty nice”airbnb

“When we arrived parking was hard to get finally got one when we went to room the lock was hard to do even though it's a key pad and you had to use body strength to get door open. I got a big bruise on my arm from opening and closing the door. I did message about the issue but was told nothing could be done, I mean a little wd40 maybe or new door and lock. Outside of that the place was nice, livingroom TV was hard to work but bedroom tv was easy, Murphy bed was more comfortable then king bed but sheets and blankets were are nice crisp and clean. Alot of locals know they don't monitor parking so they parked in the garage and used the pools during the day which made it a little overwhelming but people were nice. Once 5pm hit pretty much empty which was wonderful The view was nice. A little loud at times as room is second floor next to bar and lazy river but that's kind of expected at any hotels. All in all it wasn't bad. Hoping they fix the door situation for next guest.”airbnb

“The rooms not as described with large beds caused us to have to regroup on sleeping arrangements and one couple had to use bunk beds. Dishwasher had to be run multiple times periodically to clean. Dryer didn’t dry well, bathtub to right upstairs did not drain well, only one towel bar for two towels for 6 people to share. Dryer lint trap broke with someone else’s clothes stuck in it.Wood piece in kitchen below sink broke off . Cleaners left two bags of dirty clothes in garage that stayed there all week that we were there.”airbnb

“RATS FOR ROOMMATES: do not bring children here. Horrible response time. Host believe rats dwelling in the unit and popping everywhere around our child and eating our food is ok. We had to leave early bc of the disgusting infestation and are treated with disrespect and host seems to think we are lying. We have photo proof and saw the rats ourselves. Never stay here. You will not get your money back. You will most likely just end up with some disease that rats carry. Airbnb support also does nothing to help as the host claims that “two professionals came to inspect property for rats after you left and there is no sign of them”. This is alarming because he is either lying about the inspection or they actually never found the rats and they are still there. Good luck everyone. Clearly this unit is already occupied again and I’m sure there will be another complaint in the next 24 hours. Rats do not just show up and leave. They live there until forced out.”airbnb
