“This was my second time staying in a home hosted by desert dwellings and it was nothing short of amazing. I chose to stay at another home hosted by them because they have such amazing properties. The host is so kind and very easy to contact. The house was located in such a perfect spot. I loved the privacy. The homes lay out is open and so fun to cook and play games in while looking at an amazing view. I would absolutely recommend this home and any other hosted by Desert Dwellings. I will definitely be returning soon. Thank you for an amazing stay! My sister said it was one of the best birthdays she ever had.”

“The place was very clean and looked exactly like the photos — honestly even prettier in person. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The only downside was that it sometimes took quite a while to receive responses when we had questions. Other than that, everything was great!”

“Overall, we had a good stay. The house itself is very cute, located in a nice area, and the host was responsive throughout the stay. Check-in was easy and everything was straightforward. The house had everything you needed and really hit the desert vibe we were looking for. There were just a few downsides that kept the stay from being perfect. The AC was restricted and couldn’t be adjusted past a certain limit, which made it uncomfortable at times since it was very hot during the stay. The living room furniture was also not very comfortable for sitting for longer periods of time. The backyard has a really nice grilling area with a lot of potential, but unfortunately the landscaping wasn’t maintained. The weeds were very overgrown, making it hard to fully enjoy or use the space. Other than those issues, the stay was overall good. With some more comfortable furniture and better upkeep of the backyard area, this place would be even better.”

“Easy check in and the guidebook led us to our favorite restaurant of our trip: the copper room. The location was private but still felt safe, and the decor was cute. The shower drained very slowly and management was notified, so maybe check if it has been resolved before booking. Unfortunately, halfway through our stay, we saw a mouse in the bedroom. Communication with the hosts was relatively easy considering it was 2 am. We ended up checking out early and they offered a refund for the rest of the trip which we appreciated. While the situation was less than ideal, they handled it how I would’ve hoped.”

“The place itself was nice, great amenities, view & clean! But not locating the place, I am a family of 4 and our expected arrival time got pushed back. On the way to the place, the host told us not to look at our GPS prior to arriving and gave us vague directions to enter home, the road directed to go on doesn’t have any signs and we’re making wrong turns as we go on an EXTREMELY bumpy road. The host energy and attitude was quite unsettling / unwelcoming. This made me feel not to communicate with them during my stay. We just need a better description to locate the home. I am a mother of 2 and was quite frustrated of the customer service especially to navigate in a dark environment. Check out instructions were a bit much, taking out the trash to the dumpster is separated & far from the house and it included us to the dishes (a little last min when they told us). This is supposed to be my vacation and doing cleaning duties could take additional 2hours of my time to complete both tasks.”
