Booked a stay for two weeks at the Grand Lake Getaway Cabin, directly through their website. Stayed there last year as well. Very nice place. However, this time there was an issue. 8 days into the stay, they sent a text requesting access to the rented space to re-boot a router. I declined, stating that I wanted to be there. When I got back to the cabin, I found signs that they had indeed gone inside, including an unlocked door. It was beeping, and the door opened without a code entry. Of course they denied entering the space, and the multiple time I texted them back, they said they were "looking into it", which consisted of asking staff if they went inside. Of course the staff denied entering the space. After 2 or 3 texts requesting more info, they stopped responding. I can't recommend a place that will enter your rented space despite denying their request to enter the space. That is a violation of my privacy, and I will never stay with them again.

“We booked three nights in this AirBnB but left after the first night. There was so much chipped and peeling paint throughout the entire house that we didn’t feel it was safe for our small child. “Good views and great location. They had everything one would need for your stay. However our unit was not very clean. There was dirt and debris all over the floors and rugs. The shower curtain had stains and smelled. The garbage area was not clean and even found a lot of dead flies by the windows. For the price we paid, I expected a lot nicer/cleaner place.”airbnb
“Beautiful views from the house and all around. This house was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. There was the fires so lots of trees burnt down but it was still really beautiful and peaceful. We had such a great time and we will come back.”airbnb

“This tiny home was the prefect little getaway place to call home for the weekend. It has a shared backyard with another b&b which was perfect since we had our dog with. The location is right across from Lake Superior and in walking distance of lots restaurants and things to do!”airbnb
“My fiancé, baby and I stayed here for a small fall getaway and it was absolutely perfect! The house was charming and had everything we needed to feel right at home! The bonfire area was the perfect spot to cozy up for a nice warm fire on a chilly fall day. It was a close drive to town where there are many beautiful views and awesome eateries.
