“We have stayed at 3 of Hvr Oahu's places, and even though the houses and locations have all been amazing - our favorite thing has been their communication and assistance. The staff have been amazing and helpful, we just adore Amanda and Sandy!”

“This house is located in a nice, friendly neighborhood and is on a ridge so there is always a breeze. The home is comfortable and in a few places-outdoor stairs to pool- well worn. The home was perfect for our family. Downstairs, our kids and grandkids had air conditioning in their bedrooms and a comfortable living space that included a TV area and room to play. There is also a good sized bathroom. The main floor has the master bedroom with AC, a great bath, a workable kitchen, a large dining area, and a living room that easily accommodated our group. There are two decks and an outside covered patio by the pool. The company that manages the property quickly responded to our questions in a friendly, professional manner. We really enjoyed our time here.”

“Great home for our family vacation - teenage kids loved the pool - and we all enjoyed the epic view from the backyard and home. Located in a very quiet neighborhood that ended up being easy to get to Waikiki or anywhere else on the island!”

“The backyard is nice and provides a pleasant outdoor space, but that is the only highlight. The home appears clean, but obvious that management only cleans visible surfaces. Many areas that aren’t immediately noticeable are overlooked. The house feels less clean than expected. Entering and exiting the property is on a higher-speed section of a busy three-lane road. There is substantial road noise in two of the bedrooms. The property is currently for sale, and owner pressured us to allow showings during our stay. This is not disclosed in our the listing. I would not stay here again.”

“The house is in a wonderful location with unbeatable views. We loved the spool for our 4 year old and it was also raised so we weren't worried about our baby crawling in. Having air conditioning in the bedrooms was perfect to beat the summer heat. The kitchen had all of the supplies that we needed. Amanda and her team were very responsive and great hosts!”

“The two of us really loved the spaciousness of this house, especially so because we were cooped in by the unexpectedly torrential rains over the one month period of our stay. One of us used one of the extra bedrooms as an office, the other extra bedroom as closet space, while we used the master bedroom for reading and watching TV. We loved the quiet neighborhood. Next time we’ll use the pool. The kitchen was roomy and fully stocked, and we were not lacking for any utensils whatsoever. Especially nice was the powerful wifi throughout the house; the Weber BBQ was efficient and easy to use; the complimentary mid-month housekeeping was SO appreciated; and Amanda and Sandy were so very responsive to our questions and needs. They are to be commended for their professionalism.”

“Great location and situated on a quiet beach. Beautiful home by permanent local architect Vadimir Osipoff. Enjoyed spending time with family and friends on the backyard lanai. Had surf and paddle boards delivered, and had many waves all to ourselves! Host/prop managers were very responsive and check in/check out was as smooth and easy as I’ve ever experienced.”

“ants and cockroaches, screens need replacing as holes which we taped so less bugs flies were getting in, bedrooms and bathrooms very old definitely need renovation, nice view onto the golf course, the road in front not pleasant for walking as busy with vehicles but from the back you could access the next set of houses where you could walk on an internal street with almost no vehicles, before 7 am and after 6PM one can walk the golf course, Sandy Beach 15 minute slow walking with a stroller but part was on side of busy highway, but without stroller could walk thru more rough terrain, Sandy Beach is not for regular swimmers nor for other regular water sports as very rough. There are other beaches that are very nice but you would need transport or use the public transport which is very close by. For restaurants and groceries 20 minute drive where there is a Safeway, Costco, restaurants, and other shops as in strip malls. The supplies for cleaning, laundry, kitchen were exceptional.”

“Improper maintenance permitting water to come into the house when storms passed through, rainwater coming into the house in many locations Rain coming onto the stairs, going upstairs from the skylights Dirty steps, dirty windows Mold closing off a bedroom only with a beach towel and it probably should have been properly sealed Roofer came and downspouts very plugged up. He was able to get the water off the roof which in previous nights had been keeping us awake. Storm damage happened on March 13 mitigation company came on March 25 with loud excessively noisy machines. I reported to Airbnb that when we left ethe house, the machines would be turned on when we were in the house because of all of us having ear problems from it and being concerned with ear damage, they were to be turned off Airbnb response was it was fine. 25th when the mitigation machine plugged into outlet loose wires evening of March 28, host had terminated our lease giving us until 11 AM the next day to vacate”
