“The building and location were perfect! Unfortunately, the room had a broken window facing a main road, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep due to the constant noise from the busy, tourist-heavy area. Additionally, the room had a very unpleasant musty, mildew-like smell that took away from the overall experience. With a few improvements, this could be a much better stay!”

“3/5 Stars – Great Location, but Disappointing Experience Check-in was terrible. I was told to find an elevator fob in the mailbox, but it was locked, and the instructions didn’t include a PIN. I texted Mark and received no response, then called and waited on hold for 30 minutes. It took about an hour to get inside the apartment. After a six-hour flight, this was extremely frustrating. The apartment wasn’t properly cleaned, and the dish sponge was old and needed replacing. On the positive side, they provide plenty of beach essentials, which is a nice touch, but one of the beach chairs was ripped and should have been replaced. The apartment is also very noisy, and you can hear almost everything happening on the street. The location is excellent, but the apartment needs renovation and better maintenance. For the price charged, the condition and check-in experience are not acceptable. Overall, it was an okay stay, but there is plenty of room for improvement.”

“The location was great. It was a bit hot. The little ac unit couldn’t keep up and the fan didn’t have any remote to make it faster. The bathroom was dirty and the little tub didn’t drain very well. There was also not a lot of ventilation. The building was undergoing a lot of remodeling so the water temperature was impossible to control. The microwave didn’t work and neither did the plug in the bathroom. The bathroom door also jammed against the floor. My guess is from the humidity but the door handle fell off as a result. The WiFi also didn’t work so the front desk let us use the neighbors. The beach chairs and towels provided were great. And the hotel also held our luggage complimentary all day as we had a late flight home.”

“The condo was at a great location. The condo is not part of the hotel and hotel staff are rude and will not talk to you once you mention you rented this through Airbnb. We had this condo for 5nights and was left with no kitchen sponge and 1 roll of TP. When I reached out to the host they told me they only provided the starting supplies. I explained that for a 5night stay I expected at least 2 rolls of TP.”

“El lugar está en remodelación, está céntrico. Pero hay mucho ruido, al parking cuesta 40 dólares diarios. Y abajo hacen mucho ruido, porque hay un bar!. La ubicación es muy buena”

“The only good things I can say about this place is the parking spot was convenient and the location was great. Other than that it was not for us. We arrived on Monday and when I first walked into the room I encountered what smelled like wet clothes when you leave them in the washer too long, like mildew. I brought this up about 2 hours after being there, since my husband called it out after I stayed silent trying to ignore it. Also lock on back door was broken. Additionally, the fix for the smell was a “ozone machine” upon further research it says we can’t be in there during use of this device and we have to stay out for hours or risk severe lung damage. It wasn’t until Wednesday that we would get a solution, 3 days of our trip would’ve been wasted on this. That’s when we decided to find somewhere else, we ended up getting refund and paid over 1400 to get a new hotel for 5 days… If you want convenience of location with a bare minimum and barely clean room, this is your spot.”

“The place is in a good location and the added beach equipment was nice add in. However the place is not very clean with dusty areas and roaches in the bathroom. The host also didn’t seem to be unhappy whenever we contacted them with issues we had. We weren’t able to connect to wifi because the router was not correctly set up and had no shampoo and conditioner when checked in. If things ran out we were told to buy it. Definitely a no frills type of Airbnb. Mark was nice but not hospitable. He would often leave me on read and I would have to follow up.”

“Just to start off this Airbnb gets 5 stars in regards to the view and location. Walkable distance to Waikiki Beach. Now the bad. We gave it 3/5 stars due to the following: 1. No kitchen amenities (salt/pepper, coffee, etc.) 2. One bed the mattress was thin to the point a metal bar was on your back. 3. Light in shower was burnt along with soap dispenser was broken. 4. Wind leaked through the windows which caused a wising sound. 5. Wants you to do dishes but no dish soap or sponge was provided. We would stay there again due to the location and view but basis amenities should be provided.”
