Hawaii Vacation Suites

Hawaii Vacation Suites's guest rating of 4.62 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

A great location, but too much noise from street. Easy check-in, but before check out 11:00am, housekeeping came 3 times, that’s make us uncomfortable

Affordable price for two weeks , good location in tourist area, it’s good that you can walk to eat and explore around or go to the beach . Not parking included and it’s fine because its in the description. and you have to pay in the hotel , the bad thing for me was that ok they only let me paid for a week and when I was going to pay the next week they told me they were sold out. And this is an hotel issue , I think it’s obvious they should save a spot if they know you are going to stay longer .

If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. From the moment we arrived, it was a disaster. There is NO parking. We were forced to pay a meter every four hours or risk getting our car towed. Yes, that meant setting alarms throughout the night just to move the car while on vacation. The front desk was completely useless and offered no solutions whatsoever. The location is right next to a club, and the noise is unbearable. If you’re expecting to sleep, think again. The music and commotion go late into the night. To top it off, there was a homeless man in the elevator when we got there. As two women traveling alone, this immediately made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. The Airbnb itself was filthy. There were dust bunnies hanging from the ceiling that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months, and the curtains were stained and ripped. Clearly, cleanliness and maintenance are not a priority here. This place is nothing like what was advertised.

I've stayed at the Ilikai Marina many times over the years. The building is undergoing construction. It's an eyesore, but it looks like it's getting a much-needed facelift! Unfortunately, my check-in experience wasn't as smooth. I spent about an hour trying get Mark to assist with an issue with the front door. He was a bit abrasive and made it seem like I didn't know how to use a Schlage keypad lock or that I was entering the wrong code, even though I was using the exact code in the check-in email. I didn't hear back from Mark so I called back & spoke with another rep., who was much more helpful. It turned out the cleaner simply hadn't programmed the new code into the lock. Mistakes happen, and I appreciated that the representative immediately had the cleaner come to correct the issue. Overall, the condo was a good value for the price I paid. It could benefit from some cosmetic repairs, maintenance, & updated furnishings. Aside from the frustrating check-in, I had an enjoyable stay.

Booked based on the listing photos, but was checked into a completely different unit that didn't match the listing at all. The room was unhygienic — found cockroaches in the room, stained sheets, a damaged door frame, and the bathroom door couldn't even close. Raised this with the host, who dismissed the privacy concern. Would not recommend, what you book is not what you get.

close to the beach & other local attractions. If you plan to be gone most of the time, this spot will work. We are more of a staycation type where we like to lounge. It was a bit claustrophobic as it was boxed in on all sides with buildings that were taller/towering. No waist height windows to open in either bedroom or the living room. kept front door open to feel less confined Serious construction going on right next door. Super loud at times and before 8am. picked this property because it seemed to be the best deal and was supposedly discounted by over $111. would've been really disappointed had we paid more. Floors not clean as when we walked around barefoot inside our feet were black. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was a huge improvement from the last spot we occupied on this same trip. Still preferred the other location due to the views, amenities.

Not the best first impression arriving to this Airbnb. This is actually a hotel/condo. We arrived at 1:30 and asked if we could check in early as we had already received the keys from the front desk.. and the host said no. We just wanted to drop off our bags and grab lunch as we had just had an 11 hr travel day. The room was small but good enough for me and my wife. Huge balcony with a good view of Waikiki beach. We did notice the towels had a cigarette smell which was unpleasant. The best thing about this Airbnb is the location, super walkable with lots of food options near by. The poke, Maguro spot across the street was amazing. Definitely check it out!

The view is the only thing going for this place, everything else was a letdown. The room is far smaller than the photos imply. The room was dirty: stained bench, stained bedding, and a patio bench that looked nothing like the photos: rusty, worn and dirty. The host insisted they “didn’t see any issues” with the bedding, which was honestly shocking. The air conditioner was so loud that resting was impossible, even during the day. The host said someone could check it the next day, but I was already exhausted and needed a functional space. The elevator was out of service despite the front desk claiming it had “just” broken. I had to haul luggage up 13 floors, only to learn from a resident it had been down since the previous night. I checked out within an hour and found another Airbnb. The host only shortened the stay and refused any partial refund. For this price you can get a far cleaner, quieter and a nicer place with a view in Waikiki. I strongly recommend choosing a different place.
