“Die Lage so nahe am Waikiki-Beach ist toll gelegen. Allerdings hat es hinter dem Haus sehr viele Restaurants unter anderem mit Barbetrieb. Gerade am Wochenende ist es sehr laut. Die Fenster dämmen leider nur wenig. Wer eine Unterkunft für 1-2 Nächte in Honolulu sucht, wird hier fündig. Für erholsame Ferien aber nicht geeignet.”

“The place was clean and in a great location but the air conditioning did not work. It was 82 degrees and he said he would send someone at 9 am the next day when checkout was 11 am. There was a fan but it was horrible sleeping due to temperature. The bed was very comfortable.”

“PERFECT spot!! Our family of 4, two adults & 2 kids, loved this home. It was easily to get to from our parking spot and super close to the elevators. We would absolutely come back if available for our next stay!”

“This place is perfect for a couple wanting to be within walking distance to everything in Waikiki. It needs a deep cleaning and some maintenance to match the ads recently renovated note. Eg Split tiles on patio definitely need replacing as they can cause injury. Overall we enjoyed this location as our base. The building amenities were great. A few suggestions for Rick; to have 2 beach chairs for guests as there’s only one (I know I could have asked but we just made due with one.); Replace shower curtain regularly. (While the place was cleaned a moldly shower curtain made the bathroom feel dirty). We want to give an accurate description of the place for future guests. Rick is a responsive host so I have no doubt he will take these suggestions and make the place an even better experience for future guests. Mahalo for the great stay. Gene”

“This was the perfect base for our Hawaii adventures. Beautiful views and within walking distance of 4 private lagoons. We would stay here again.”

“We stay at Ko'Olina beach resort every year and love it. This is the first time in Rick's listing and was surprised how different Rick treated us as guests in comparison to every other host. They were beyond wonderful and helpful provided an amazing experience as to where we were extremely surprised that from the time we arrived I tried contacting Rick and never once responded the whole trip??? I guess you would call Rick more of a Gohst than a host.. We travel alot and that is the first time I have ever experienced such rude behavior... However, I'd rather not get into details, for the money spent Not happy at all with Rick but the Resort is always great and we will continue to come back every year hopefully with a different host! Ko'Olina beach resort scale of 1-10 an absolute 15 .”

“On the first day I noticed there was BLACK mold in the shower liner. Addressed it on day 1 and wasn’t addressed until day 3 of my 4 day stay… they messed up my paperwork and I was locked out of the room after 1 day as well. This stay was very inconvenient and I am fighting to get some sort of compensation. The owner did not take responsibility but offering me a crazy disrespectfully low reimbursement when 3 of the 4 days I stayed was not deemed clean… stay away from here!”

“I really liked the location and the pool at the condo. The pictures are very accurate to the listing. I did have some issues come up. There was a missing door handle to the bathroom which caused a major inconvenience because we couldn't shut the door. Rick told me he would have maintenance fix it and it never happened. The kitchen had no toaster or any oven safe dishes, so cooking was difficult. While the condo was mostly very clean, the unit also had some wear. There was paint peeling in several areas in the condo, and there was a lot of dust in the vents and around the washer and dryer. it seems that the cleaners have a list they follow, and only that, so the kitchen, fridge, sinks and floors were immaculate. We also had one giant cockroach that came in under the door, but we saw the halls being sprayed that day, and I know that in Hawaii, bugs are a problem.”
