“Location was great! We were able to walk to breakfast each morning and could easily drive to neighboring cities. The place itself was pretty good! Right on the beach with amazing views. We walked the beach at low tide each morning but once high tide hit, it wasn’t super accessible or walkable. We appreciated the coffee and coffee maker but besides that, the place didn’t offer too much. One suggestion I have for the owners is to maybe add a mini-split to the master bedroom as it got fairly warm and wasn’t super easy to cool as the only window/slider to the master is on the front of the unit where the street and access to neighboring units are. The hosts were super great and available, which was nice! Overall, this place is great and I would recommend for a quick weekend trip.”

“Pros- Everything felt brand new and very clean. Friendly and responsive. The hooks on walls for hanging items. Lots of towels and extra bedding. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable couches and primary bedroom. The hedge in front of entry provides the perfect amount of privacy. The large umbrellas outside. Close to the beach and downtown. Very walkable area. Cons- Any type of indoor dining table would have been nice. Lots of closet space, but no hangers. No iron or ironing board. The living room rug was a little slippery, but very soft. Few surfaces for setting belongings on and the ones they did have felt a bit cluttered with decorative items. Second bedroom beds were not as comfortable. We were a family of 5. It was a small space but we enjoy being together. I would recommend this place and stay here again!”

In addition, the host team was very responsive, accommodating, and most of all so kind to us throughout our entire stay. After staying in many AirB&B’s, we must say that the level of care shown by this host exceeded our expectations and they deserve the 5 star review for their 5 star service!!”

“This spot was perfect for my daughter‘s sweet 16 getaway with its proximity to downtown Carlsbad, iconic views, people watching from the terrace, and steps from the sand. It’s apparent that the home was recently renovated, with an attention to detail that’s rare in vacation rentals. Our hosts were lovely and responsive, and I hope to return for a few days later this year!”
