Harris Vacations

Harris Vacations's guest rating of 4.77 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Beautiful place. Lots of rooms and all were very cozy. Only complaint was the showers could have been cleaned better and the WiFi doesn’t work well. The WiFi made our 11, 12 & 13 year old a little sad. But we did spend most our time on the beach. It was definitely hot outside. But the ac worked well and made it easy to cool down. Overall this place is rated fantastic. We had a wonderful experience!! We definitely recommend and will stay here again.

grass was extremely long. Toilets were extremely low to the ground. my 87 yr old dad got scrapped up on wall because toilet was so low. Internet was very slow. Tv would work for a little while then it would not work. Kitchen had zero spices. 1 towel/ wash cloth per person. we had 8 people. sleeps 10. 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom and 1 roll of paper towels. 1 trash bag. This is insane for a house that sleeps 10 for a week . Shower had a very small shelf for soap/ shampoo. it would constantly fall off on to the floor. The neighborhood dog comes every day to Shit in the back yard! we found beer cans upstairs and on the dock.

The house, location and view are amazing and beautiful however, be prepared. You will need to come with your own household basics. If you stay longer than a day or two (we stayed a week) you’ll need paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, Kleenex, laundry and dish/dishwasher soap, hand soap, shampoo, salt, pepper, coffee, filters, bottled water, etc. Be ready for a long list of rules with possible fine if you break any. It would have been nice if one of the two refrigerators in the kitchen had working a working ice maker. Loved the house, its layout, decor, comfortable furniture and beds, screened in porch is wonderful and the pool/outdoor area was great. Beach is beautiful, only a short walk away.

Overall the house was good. There was a lack of items that we normally find in AirBnBs that we book such as kitchen type items. Also we had to use the extra sheets to put over the couch due to pet hair. Location and access to the beach was great.

Beautiful home in an awesome location! Loved how close the beach was especially with kids. Knowledge to have before booking: they don't provide things like garbage bags (1 per can), basic spices, laundry/dishwasher pods (they provide 1 each), beach toys or pool toys. Some of these aren't technically necessary but they make a week long beach vacation much easier. Overall, we have a great time and loved Gulf Shores!

We booked this stay primarily for the dog-friendly pool, but weren't told until after booking that the dogs cannot go in the pool and it was too late to cancel by the time we found out. This should be on the listing. The house is attractive but feels unfinished in the details. No towel racks in the bathrooms, sliding doors that don't fully close for privacy, and "comforters" so thin they felt like a second sheet. The supplies situation was frustrating for a premium-priced property. One roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one paper towel roll, and a single dishwasher pod to then be asked to run the dishwasher before leaving. At this price point, having basics stocked for a full weekend stay should be standard. Otherwise just feels incredibly annoying- even though we were warned before. The house has potential, but between the supply situation, the unfinished details, and the pool miscommunication, we didn't feel the price was worth it.

Prefer cable over streaming….pool heater should still be on so we could enjoy it……still too cold.

I can't give it five stars. We had 2 toilets on main floor that did not flush well and a sink in main guest room that leaked. They said they would be there right away to repair these issues, but they were never fixed. And had issue with temp getting down to 52 in house. No clear instructions on how to remedy that issue. We were finally able to get it up to 72 at night but that was after us trying to figure out the smart thermostat. Not our job, right? Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. Nice house and nice location. The shared pool between the three townhouses was not nearly large enough. Very crowded and loud at times especially with two small children. We did enjoy the beach fortunately.

The place was very spacious for my family. WiFi and ice maker wasn’t working. After several calls about the WiFi it didn’t start working until the next day. Needs to improve the smell (urine), need updated furniture (sofa was dirty)the steps and mattress had stains on it. Other than that it was very spacious, they had plenty of cooking utensils and the kids LOVED the pool.
