“Home was clean. Issues: Owner occupied shared property that wasn’t disclosed (listing says shared with another AirBNB). Owners pets were in backyard so we did not have access to backyard. Front fenced yard had driveway with gate access that only owners had and they left the gates open at times so then our dogs were unable to be in the front or back yard. Owners had bonfires in backyard and played loud music although it stated a shared pool/backyard area it was intimidating since it was the owner not another vacationing couple. There is an option to say it’s a guesthouse, had we known it was essentially a guesthouse we would not have chosen this location. We feel the listing is internationally misleading.”

“The condo is spacious, with everything needed for your stay in Athens. The location is quiet, yet close to downtown. Would definitely stay again on a trip to Athens!”

“Nice home, lovely lay out. A lot of natural light gets in and I like that. We did run out of toilet paper night one so we had to take care of that on our own so -1 point there and another this complained that there was a “ball of hair” in her room. -1 Overall, our stay was great and we wish it were longer. “Great home 10 minutes away from Sanford. Fire pit area is a great addition, as well as the grill. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a group place to stay near UGA”

“Great location downtown Athens GA. I know there are a lot of disrespectful people on this platform but this rule book was pretty long, referenced a different property, and somewhat threatening especially related to using the hvac system - potential $200 fine if you use it incorrectly.”

“Huge, very clean apartment. Had some trouble finding it - the door is in the back of the building, which would be helpful to include in the check in instructions. Noisy at night, but that is to be expected when staying downtown in a college town - just be prepared with white noise machine, ear plugs, etc. Would definitely stay again!”

“The place was as shown in the photos. The host were very slow to respond. The check in information that was sent was incorrect. when I tried reaching out to the host for the correct information the took more than 24 hours to reply and that was after I called Airbnb support to assist me with getting through to them.”

“We arrived to a completely dark home inside and out. We had to walk around weeds along the walkway and roofing tiles on the ground. Upon entry to the house, it smelled terrible and there were dirty bathrooms, blinds, and stains on the furniture. The pictures looked nothing like the actual property. When we came to the house midday there were 2 cars in the driveway and people brining things into the lower level. Material on the floor of our unit suggested they had entered our unit while we were gone. Felt unsafe.”
