Greer Cabin Keepers

Greer Cabin Keepers's guest rating of 4.56 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

As a fellow Airbnb owner, I was surprised by how outdated the guest experience was. Instead of receiving modern check-in instructions, we had to drive into town to pick up a paper with directions to the cabin. Those directions were incorrect and led us to the wrong street. I was then forced to drive back to the office and be escorted to the property. Staff admitted many guests have trouble finding the cabin, which raises the question of why the directions haven't been corrected. Upon arrival, we found trash left inside, a previous guest's T-shirt in a bedroom, a broken recliner, a stereo that didn't work, and non-functioning living room lights and ceiling fan. The cabin was also difficult to cool below 78 degrees, and we discovered the HVAC filter was extremely dirty. The area is beautiful, but better maintenance, cleanliness, and modern guest communication would significantly improve the experience.

This cabin was a great fit for our family of six. The property is private and quiet, only 5 min drive from town. The road is also a short cut to Big Lake, where you can rent boats and fish. Renters should be mindful that there is no cell signal Check-in instructions are incomplete. The “office” where check in takes place is in town, 5 min drive away. Should you arrive late, in the dark, etc… and be unaware this could be really problematic. Otherwise, we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend this space.

My family had a wonderful time at the cabin. Loved the beautiful surroundings and close walking distance to trails and town. A surprise visit from a hungry bear banging on the front door made the trip extra memorable. This place is definitely out in the woods and it is lovely!

It was perfect! It was cozy and modern. We loved the outside deck and we were able to walk our dog every morning to a lake nearby. It was peaceful and pristine!

**Airbnb pin and address is incorrect— be sure to go to cabin butler office for true directions first** I sent the host a screenshot of the pin my maps was taking us to (according to address on Airbnb) and they said it was correct and that we could just go straight there. But I think they must have been confused because the pin took us to crescent lake 45 minutes away. We had to go all the way back to the office on Main st to retrieve proper directions, and the cabin wasn’t far from there. The cabin itself was charming, and clean, and in a great location. It had everything we needed, including extra blankets and linens. Would definitely stay again!

We had great time, will definitely visit again or recommend others. Issues that could potentially be fixed are ventilation issues in basement bedrooms and 2nd floor bedrooms which could have fixed with bug screen in windows like main floor windows.

I was expecting a quiet stay at a cabin by the river. What I got was a cabin complex with a wedding in the front yard and a party that went on till one in the morning

We enjoyed our stay to the fullest! Everything was nice and comfortable, just wish the hot tub was more clean, we had some white residue that stuck to our skin, would be nice to go back in the hot tub again. Other than that we loved it.

The cabin was nice enough but there was no one at the office in check in. We were cold and in the rain. When we got frustrated and called, we found out it was handled remotely from Greer and the cabin we paid for was not available despite us getting cabin 20 for the spa and location near Darbis. It was an hour later from check in in the cold and rain before they unlocked our cabin. We were first told we would be moved to cabin 35, then were moved again to cabin 31. The toilet also had trouble flushing (We never flushed any toilet paper, the plumbing was just weak). There was some rotting on the wood on the spa as well. It was comfortable in there but too much trouble and frustrating
