“My cousin and I stayed the weekend in the apartment. We were very comfortable and the beds were great! Everything was clean and well cared for. It was spacious and nicely, modestly decorated. Everything is in working order. The old wood work, wood floors, and architecture was very urban and cool. We loved how close we were to Belle Isle, Little Village, many W. Jefferson locations, and the river. We would happily come back!”

“We had a good stay. Note that this property is managed by a management company and you will be asked to go to a separate system to go through several steps validate your identity by uploading your drivers license.”

“I stayed here for a conference down the street at the Shepard. The park across the street is beautiful and the charming neighborhood nestled behind this building had just enough nearby to call it “walkable.” The space itself was very spacious, clean, and filled with natural light. Really happy with my experience and would stay here again!”

“This is our second stay at this home so we were disappointed with the issues we dealt with. Overall the home is beautiful and very clean. One of the biggest benefits to this home for us is being able to use the full kitchen and not having to worry about throwing away food from restaurants, but that wasn’t the case this visit. The fridge wasn’t working at all. Nothing in there was being kept cold enough to keep it from going bad and the freezer was the exact same issue (both set at the coldest setting, noticed when we checked to see if that was the problem). On top of that we ordered pizza on our last night and left it on the counter while we ate our first slice as most do. Not 15 mins later we were met with ants covering the pizza and countertop. We did notice a window slightly cracked after the fact, but also weren’t able to close it. So for this stay I wouldn’t say it was worth it since our main amenities couldn’t be used and we had wasted for because of that and ants.”

“The pictures are accurate. Beautiful, historic spot with hardwood floors. The location is good, near downtown, and across the street from the river. The beds and linens are nice and comfy. The stairs leading to the space are steep and at night were often times dark. Parking spot was appreciated. The apt is need of a deep clean and some accessories need to be replaced due to wear. The street noise is incredibly loud; especially, in the front bedroom. Though, a noise machine was provided, it didn't help much. The bathroom is small and the door does not latch or close all the way. The main door lock can be difficult at night as the lighting isn't always good. Overall, not terrible but not great either.”
