Great Stay

“The photo showed the open clear dome but ours was the first one which confused us and we had trouble figuring out which one was ours. So that’s why I didn’t write 5 stars. It was confusing when we first got there. I would have liked to see the stars from laying down, but I actually liked the one we had better because it had an overhang porch to sit at. It rained, lightening and thundered so the overhang porch was really nice in the morning to sit under and drink coffee! I guess I usually pay this price for a small cottage, not a tent type of place so that sort of threw me off initially,but in the end it was okay. A unique experience. The hot tub was nice in the evening with a glass of wine. I have the Merlin bird app and when I walked my dog in the field area and sat on the porch, I counted 22 different bird species there. For bird lovers, that was wonderful! I also liked that it was about next door to a winery that had really good winer and pizza.”

“Pros: Secluded, vineyard within sight - one set of neighbors are close by Clean interior/sheets - as someone with seasonal allergies it was very clean and no carpet, so it felt much cleaner than many places I’ve stayed Covered Parking Easy in and out with code door - no interference or needing to wait to hear from someone Cons: Bed has a big gap between springs and was very uncomfortable for folks in late 30s A lot of stickers in the yard Cat kept setting off motion activated light the entire night No fan or tv in the bedroom (personal preference), very small tv in the living room.”

“The property was very beautiful and peaceful. It was the perfect distance, not too far away from the city but far enough to enjoy a quiet night with stargazing. The property is located about 15 min from downtown. We had a minor issue on the first day but the owners were very accommodating and quick to respond to messages and give us updates. Would recommend their properties for big families or a weekend trip getaway with friends/small groups. Would stay again here!”

“We had a wonderful stay! The property is only about 5 minutes from town, so it was convenient while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. We loved spending time watching all the animals—the goats, cat, quail, and longhorns were a fun bonus and really added to the experience. The hot tub was perfect for watching the sunset after a day of exploring, and we enjoyed winding down with a movie before bed. The accommodations were clean, the linens were fresh, and the full kitchen had everything we needed. Overall, a fun and relaxing stay. We'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Fredericksburg area!”

“Absolutely, incredible place to get away. This is the perfect escape to get away from Austin for the weekend. Beautiful view of the stars, hot tub, and fire pit both were such a vibe. Overall, the experience was 10 out of 10. Will definitely be coming back.”
