“We enjoyed the beautiful cabin, the nature, hot tub and the near by activities, ...especially the beautiful waterfall. The cabin was clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay ..!! We celebrated our 8 yr anniversary here! We will be back!”

“This cabin is absolutely beautiful and the views are amazing. It was clean and well stocked with everything that we needed. All of the bedding, furniture, towels, kitchen supplies, and the cabin itself were very high quality. The hot tub was the perfect ending to every evening. The inside fireplace was very cozy on the brisk mornings. The fireflies gave us a show every night. The rental company was always very responsive. This area does not have the best cell phone service which is exactly what we were looking for to have a complete getaway. The location was perfect to venture out to Bryson City, Cherokee, and the casino. We will definitely rent this cabin again.”

“The cabin itself was beautiful. The views were great. The area was secluded which is what we were looking for. Pool table and hot tub were very nice. The driveway would be best accessible with a truck or lifted vehicle. Signs pointing to cabin were a big help.”

“We came to this house for a long weekend so glad we did. Enough space for 6 adults and 2 pups. Driveway was a breeze to get into. Highly recommend 👌 Would love to come back to this house.”

“We loved our stay at Heaven on Earth! As noted by others, it's very private and quiet and the road up and down can be a little intimidating, but worth it to enjoy the views and the peace. We also enjoyed Bryson City and the detailed recommendations provided in the guest book. The covered porch overlooking the gorgeous view was a highlight, we spent several hours in rocking chairs out there enjoying the beautiful mountains and fresh air-- plus the hummingbirds who came to enjoy the feeder!”

“I unfortunately wasn’t able to stay here due to there being a storm that messed with the electricity. It seemed like a nice place to stay, though! They do need to update their emergency maintenance number on their automated message after hours.”

“Alarka Creek Oasis is definitely not small child friendly! There is no front yard as you are directly on the road. Several amenities were out of order and with one of those was a major fire hazard. Otherwise the cabin itself was very comfortable and very peaceful!”

“1. There is a maintenance issue — rainwater is dripping inside the property and needs immediate attention. 2. One of the bedroom sheets had a significant number of bugs, which suggests the room may not have been properly inspected after cleaning. 3. There appear to be mice on the ground floor, along with many bugs. Regular pest control service is urgently needed. 4. The rugs require thorough vacuuming, and the wood floors need proper steam cleaning, as bugs are present in multiple areas.”

“We booked a rental through Airbnb that booked with the Great Smoky Mountains rental company. They called about an hour before we got there to let us know that the hot tub was not working to give us an alternative cabin. They told us the alternative was a “definite upgrade”. We got to the second place, which was not private at all. The hot tub was literally in a grass backyard and you could smell the neighbors doing drugs. They sent us to a second place that was dirty and the hot tub was literally half full cold and full of dirt. We requested to cancel. Still trying to get our money back.”
