Great Smokys Cabin Rentals

“Absolutely wonderful views and a beautifully quiet cabin. 2 days of rain and we stayed in the cabin. Plenty of games and entertainment to keep up occupied. And a great large porch to sit and listen to the rain. Would definitely return!”

“Beautiful surroundings. Wish the weather would have been better so we could have enjoyed outdoor porch. Very open concept cabin.”

“Overall the cabin was nice. The view was incredible and we loved laying in the hammock. There were cobwebs in the bedrooms that we cleaned up when we arrived but besides that it was a good property.”

“Fantastic location and space. This is the lower portion of a much bigger house above. My only issue with this location is in the bedroom, two windows directly face the bonfire patio of the upstair location. If you are unlucky you will be met with individuals who stay up late and break sound curfew keeping you awake until 1-2am like us. For some the bed is extremely hard, I enjoyed the bed. No washer dryer or dish washer.”

“The views at this cabin are first rate – you have stupendous views into valleys both to the east & west and can watch both sunrises & sunsets. There is a nice, screened porch with table. Kitchen is small but has all the essentials. The location is quiet & dark at night. The cabin is clean and cozy. Now the downsides: plumbing issues limit toilet flushing and ability to take regular showers. Plumbing also seems to limit cabin size limit guests to 2 adults only even though there are three sleeping areas; the road passes right in front of the house (although we saw no cars pass while in the cabin); there are very limited window treatments; and the directions are bad. They provide an incorrect street name and the street number is painted the same dark brown color as the cabin. There is a number on a sign which is not the house number. There is a small iron sign which is also hard to read with the name of the house. You are paying a premium for the views only.”

“Our stay at this cabin was nothing short of incredible. My wife and I came to celebrate her birthday, and it turned into one of those experiences you remember for years. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and beautifully set up — the kind of comfort that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in.The mountain view was the real highlight. Waking up to that scenery and ending the night relaxing together in total peace made the trip unforgettable. It was quiet, private, and perfect for a romantic getaway.If you’re looking for a place that delivers comfort, beauty, and a truly special atmosphere, this cabin is absolutely worth it. We couldn’t have asked for a better birthday weekend.”

“I unfortunately wasn’t able to stay here due to there being a storm that messed with the electricity. It seemed like a nice place to stay, though! They do need to update their emergency maintenance number on their automated message after hours.”

“Alarka Creek Oasis is definitely not small child friendly! There is no front yard as you are directly on the road. Several amenities were out of order and with one of those was a major fire hazard. Otherwise the cabin itself was very comfortable and very peaceful!”

“1. There is a maintenance issue — rainwater is dripping inside the property and needs immediate attention. 2. One of the bedroom sheets had a significant number of bugs, which suggests the room may not have been properly inspected after cleaning. 3. There appear to be mice on the ground floor, along with many bugs. Regular pest control service is urgently needed. 4. The rugs require thorough vacuuming, and the wood floors need proper steam cleaning, as bugs are present in multiple areas.”

“We booked a rental through Airbnb that booked with the Great Smoky Mountains rental company. They called about an hour before we got there to let us know that the hot tub was not working to give us an alternative cabin. They told us the alternative was a “definite upgrade”. We got to the second place, which was not private at all. The hot tub was literally in a grass backyard and you could smell the neighbors doing drugs. They sent us to a second place that was dirty and the hot tub was literally half full cold and full of dirt. We requested to cancel. Still trying to get our money back.”
