Manager Review

Grand Welcome Cincinnati & Northern KY

Grand Welcome Cincinnati & Northern KY's guest rating of 4.75 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Great location. Walkable. Parking was right out the front door and easy to get to.

Check the previous comments on water problems. To me, the major problem with water was the fire suppression system leaking water from an installed smoke/co detector. Water from an electric smoke/co detector!! This water was leaking in the bedroom and correction of the problem was very slow. I am speaking of the second report of problems. The first was minor dripping in the bedroom that was absorbed by a bath towel. Leaks in the flat roofed sun room were probably initiated by heavy rain fall. The water in the bed room was a separate problem. The host should consider financial remuneration based on the problems we encountered. Jim flint 8/11/26

Everything about the house was good! The only thing that needs attention is the shower liner—it just needs to be cleaned or replaced

If you're a person of color I advise you not to stay here! It almost felt like you were stepping back in time to a Sundown town!! Neighbors are not friendly and definitely not welcoming to people with melanin in their skin!! Some neighbor saw the color of our skin grabbed their kids by the hand and ushered them in the house as though they had seem something that they were not supposed to see. Several neighbors have signage stating their disdian for the Airbnb being in their community, some neighbors even made False allegations and acusations against us, that were never proven to be true!! Honestly this is the first Airbnb that I've stayed at where the community was unwelcoming and somewhat bigoted. The house itself was a nice size, clean and spacious, but the discourse that comes with staying there is not worth price of peace for someone of color. Be very cautious, careful and stay at your own risk!!

Great location for the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, there was plenty of room for our group of 11, the kitchen was well stocked, and we appreciated the large dining table, laundry room, and family amenities like the pack and play and high chair. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by the surveillance and house rules. 3 days before our stay, we received a lengthy email explaining the property uses video surveillance and noise monitoring, with warnings of fines or removal if noise exceeded 60db. Traveling with six kids and an infant, it made us feel like we had to walk on eggshells & stay indoors, instead of relaxing. I wish this had been disclosed in the listing before booking, as we would have chosen another property. Another surprise was that accessing the Wi-Fi required submitting private info that we were uncomfortable sharing, causing us to use our hotspot instead. Would not stay here again.

While the cabin itself was fine, getting to the cabin was another story. It is located about a mile down a single lane gravel road, that does not appear to be kept up well. Some areas are so rough and have deep grooves that the bottom of our van was scraping on the gravel while going 3 miles an hour. Do not rent if you do not have a 4x4 vehicle that sits up high.

A disaster from beginning to end. It hadn't been cleaned, the lo k malfunctioned several times, multiple cockroaches, problems with the TV coffee maker, smoke alarm and wifi. The owner recommended that I get on a ladder and inspect the smoke alarm for him. when I asked for a discount, I was ghosted. Just a bad experience from beginning to end.

We could not stay at this property and left shortly after arriving. When we entered, there was a strong ammonia or pet-urine-like odor in the unit. Within approximately 15 minutes, multiple members of our family developed headaches. We also observed numerous stains, including on the living room rug, and found an unwrapped rodent poison block on a shelf in a bedroom closet. We documented the condition with photographs and video, notified the host through Airbnb’s messaging system, and contacted Airbnb support. Airbnb canceled the reservation and issued us a full refund. Prospective guests should also read the house rules carefully, including the provisions imposing fees of up to $500. Based on the condition we encountered, we could not recommend this property in its current state. There is no dishwasher. I see the listing has been updated to reflect this.

The maintenance person was supposed to come and take down the birds nest but the didn’t happen. We had to use the back door only because the bird would dive bomb us. There also is a lot of bee’s nest on the back porch which is a little unsettling.
