“Stayed for the weekend. Enjoyed some of the local restaurants as well as some on the Cincinnati side. The place is comfortable and cozy. Plenty of parking spaces easy to get in and out of. Host was wonderful and responsive. Area is well lit quiet. Felt safe staying there. Highly recommend.”

“We arrived after dark, so locating the parking area was a bit of a search, but once we found that it was smooth sailing. Upon entering the apartment, we were greeted with an incredibly chill and somewhat kitschy space that I absolutely loved. The mix of modern and vintage was perfect and I loved the color palette. We had some issues the second night with the folks upstairs having a party, but Matt was incredibly responsive and had the situation dealt with as quickly as he could. The space is right on a major street, so there is road noise and it was a bottom floor unit, so you can hear folks living life upstairs…all of which Matt was clear about in his listing. No surprises there. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return.”

“OK apartment but bare bones. Didnt have enough towels, we asked for more, prompt answer but the towels never made it. Also with 10am check out and 4pm check in, you would expect a spotless place. It wasn't dirty but no one spent 6 hours cleaning just before we got there.”

“Had a really nice stay at Matt’s. He was a great host and was quick to reach out if there was anything at all we needed during our stay. The neighbourhood is a little tucked away and nice and private. We stayed for a week and the house was good for everything we needed. Comfortable beds. Nice lounge area. Great outside screened in seating area. The only downside was there not being a bathroom on the main floor. The upstairs bathroom could use a little makeover, it was a bit dated. The shower in the basement is great most of us were using it by the end of the week. Would recommend and would stay again if in the area.”

“We booked our stay exactly 1 year in advance. Our daughter graduated from Xavier University. I’d been in contact with the host many times the weeks before our stay and had no issues. The morning of our check in at 5am, I got a message stating our reservation was cancelled due to an ongoing plumbing issue. It was never mentioned in any of our previous messages. I kept receiving the automated message stating our house was ready for us to check in. I had to call them many times to turn off the automatic messages, while driving from Ct. to Ohio. Also while driving I had to book another stay for my family, we were all driving and arriving that day. To say I’m very disappointed in the whole situation and how Airbnb is handling it is an understatement. Very poor customer service, we won’t be using this service again”

“The worst experience I’ve ever had with an air bnb. The host asked for an ETA and we told him right about 4 o’clock. We ended up being a little later and the room was still never cleaned. Trash and leftover food everything. Beds were a mess. So I reached out and had to take pictures to send to the host and they eventually put us in a different room. Whole process took about an hour of time wasted. Host also wanted us to switch back to the other room the following night but gave no instruction so in the morning we went and played 18 holes of golf. Around noon I got told I “need” to come back and switch. So I responded and said that wasn’t my problem you messed up. And after a series of texts wasting more of my time they agreed to let us stay in the room we were in. And of course we get back to the air bnb after golf and they changed our room number so I had to call again. And eventually got in after another 20 minutes wasted. Was only offered a small cleaning fee refund. Don’t book here”
