The scenery was breathtaking throughout surrounded by woods, a beautiful lake, walking trails, and plenty of space for the kids to explore and play. Our family had so much fun enjoying the water, paddle boats, campfires, and the quiet beauty of nature. The mornings and evenings by the lake were especially relaxing and memorable. Everything was well-maintained, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into making this a special place for guests. If you’re looking for a clean, peaceful getaway where you can unplug, enjoy nature, and make wonderful family memories, this is the perfect place. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat.”

“I have stayed in a number of Airbnbs in the past few years, and Maria is a genuinely outstanding host. Friendly, responsive, and went out of her way to take care of me during my stay. The location is a beautiful, quiet semi-wooded area with miles of trails accessible from the front door, and you can walk into town on an easy paved footpath. Quiet, peaceful area even during weekends and holidays, near a lot of services and events, great internet, well-kept trails, near the lake, with great staff. Sandy in particular made me feel right at home, and the folks working the campgrounds and nearby businesses were welcoming.”

“We loved our stay at this modern cabin located in a picture book setting. The location was absolutely perfect for us - private, peaceful, beautiful view of the lake right below. So enjoyed canoeing on the lake and caught several bass and northern right off the jetty. Communication with Maria was exceptionally swift and easy, and the cabin was very neat and clean. “This cabin was a beautiful getaway on the shore of a quiet and picturesque lake. The house and amenities were as pictured and described in the listing. Beautiful views, gorgeous porch, cozy fireplace, welcoming but not cluttered. The house feels very spacious and airy with high ceilings, even in the loft sleeping area. The ladder to the loft is about a 12 foot climb. Maria was a communicative and responsive host and we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay at this cabin again!”

“We loved staying at Forest Lake Lodge! We arrived in the middle of the night but when we woke up the view was beautiful!! Maria was so helpful with everything we asked her about and when we told her we were going to be arriving late she kept the door unlocked for an easy entrance. It was so peaceful, we only wish we’d planned to stay a couple extra nights. We really did love it out there!”

“Had a wonderful stay! It was amazing to get out with the family and puppers. Beautiful yard, plenty of room, and the place was clean and comfy. I loved how deep is was on a small little remote road! It felt like we were all alone in their beautiful woods. We had no issues what so ever. Maria was amazingly responsive when asked questions! I hope we get to stay again soon!”
