“Extremely Disappointing Stay I would not recommend booking this property during the warmer months. The room gets unreasonably hot during the day, to the point where it was uncomfortable to stay inside. The AC did not work, and the fans provided virtually no relief. I had to buy a portable ac. The room also had a noticeable musty, wet-towel smell, which made the overall experience even less pleasant. The host’s response was not helpful. I understand the listing may not advertise AC as an amenity, but that does not change the fact that a guest should not have to endure extreme heat simply to stay in their room. The conditions were unacceptable. I was so unhappy with the stay and how the situation was handled that I reported the matter to Nevada Consumer Affairs for further review. My recommendation: wait until winter to book this property. During the warmer months, the heat makes the stay extremely uncomfortable.”airbnb

“The house was beautiful and has everything you need to feel right at home. It is located in a very good location with everything close by. You can walk to the grocery store or to the local Starbucks. The beaches are minutes away. My family and I enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again.”airbnb

“We had a pleasant stay at the Airbnb. The house was clean and as shown in pictures. Just had couple issues. The bunk bed does not mention weight limit and I asked the host but never got the response. So ended up not using it. Also at checkout needed to dump all the trash in dumpsters which was quite far and hard to locate.”airbnb

“We enjoyed our stay at Boyd Air B&B. Very clean and modern. Great for family with kids. Our kids loved the bunk beds and 2 kid’s bed in the attic. Great location; 10-15 minutes away from all the attractions. We will definitely book again when we come back.”airbnb

“Overall, this was a charming and very convenient place to stay! The location was great and it was in a very walkable area. I also really liked the practical layout of the condo, which felt cozy and comfortable. ** However, there were a couple of small issues during our stay. First, at the time of booking, I had reached out to the property manager to inquire as to whether there were any synthetic air fresheners being used at the property because I cannot tolerate plug-in air fresheners, and he assured me there were not any items like that being used there. Therefore, I was frustrated to find that there was a Febreeze Plug-In air freshener in the dining area. After our first night, I woke up with a massive headache in the morning which I believe was caused by a combination of the perfume, the off-gassing bedroom carpet, and the WiFi router which was poorly located in the master bedroom. Thankfully they had provided 2 air purifier units which did help a lot.”airbnb

“The condo is well-appointed & as represented in the photos. It’s walking distance to town, & the beach, making it an ideal location if that’s of interest. We loved our time in Tahoe & would certainly come back. The condo advertises its close proximity to the beach, which is why we rented it. It wasn’t until a few weeks before departing that I read a review noting you had to request & pay seperately for beach access in advance. It wasn’t included. I reached out & was told to do so a week before the trip. I did that & then was asked to share my CC over the phone. I said I wouldn’t do that due to security reasons, but happy to be charged via Air B&B or a secure platform. They said they would not do the first and not set up for secure payment. We settled on mailing a check & our beach pass was available on our arrival. I wish there had been clarity on both in the listing. Beach chairs &umbrellas also not included. Listed agent, Boyd, did not seem to communicate, but unlisted Sue.”airbnb
