“The place was super comfortable, clean, and cute. This could have been a four star review. I'm awarding just one star for paperwork reasons. The host requires guests to sign a contract outside the Airbnb platform, after payment is made, to complete the booking. Airbnb requires that this contract be disclosed in the listing, and it was not. Additionally, this property is categorized as "entire home" on Airbnb. In reality, the downstairs portion of the A-frame house is a separate rental unit. It was not available to us. Half the backyard is fenced off - a portion for the upstairs unit, and a portion for the downstairs. Functionally, this Airbnb is a condo or apartment and needs to be categorized and priced like one. This is not an entire house. Because I got surprised by a legal document that was not disclosed, and because the listing did not fairly represent the property in all material respects, this Airbnb is not eligible to receive more than one star.”

“Wonderful, historical, well-appointed row-house. The location is stellar-safe, interesting, everything is steps away. We knew parking would be tight, but honestly, even on weekends and with nearby construction during our stay, with just a bit of patience we always found a spot. Beds are super comfy. We enjoyed the comfortable living room. One cautionary note-this unit is best for able-bodied adults…both bedrooms and bathrooms are on second floor and stairs to second floor are open (as pictured). Outdoor space looks top rate -we bet it would be wonderful in the warmer seasons! Cannot beat this location.”
