“We had a great stay! The private beach was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and there were nice restaurants nearby. The location was perfect for a relaxing beach getaway. We really enjoyed our time here!”

“We were disappointed that, despite being notified, we weren’t provided with duplicate keys or the mold issue around bathroom light (minor) was not taken care of. With that said, the property was lovely and we enjoyed our stay-first trip to South Padre Island.”

“The listing's pictures are many years old at this point, and portray a place in much better shape than it actually is. Once we got there, it felt misleading. I grew up in that area, I know salt air is hard on everything, so I expected some rust and stains on the exterior. But it was the inside that was worse than the outside! The paint is really old and in some places, was poorly redone. Bedroom ceilings are many different shades of white from people just doing touchups. Same with bedroom walls. There are several cabinets that are broken at a hinge. Two of the sinks are missing drain stoppers. Many curtains in the pictures have been replaced cheap roller blinds. A lot of little stuff that is so easy to fix yet no one seems to care. Place could be really nice if someone did a little maintenance. Worst thing is the master bed. No joke, wife and I found it the worst mattress to sleep on. It is as hard as the floor. Will not stay here again. Not with the price.”

“Check-in was a fiasco due solely to an error caused by the host which the host attempted to make my problem - not a great experience. I spent over 3 hours negotiating an issue that was the sole mistake of the host - terrible.”
