“For the first day and night, the bedroom smelled terrible. Eventually we found that the window unit AC and filter were filthy, and after spending some time cleaning the worst of it out, things got better. Timothy was very communicative when we reported the issue, and offered to bring some fans over (the only windows that open are in the kitchen, so there's no real way to get airflow in the house), which we appreciated. There wasn't much he could do, but we certainly had the sense that he wanted to help and that's really all we can ask for. In the end, it was an okay stay but the place really isn't for me. Between that first unpleasant smell and how noisy the old building is with the squeaky floors from upstairs, we didn't find it as restful as we would have liked, and the furniture wasn't super comfortable. Again, nothing terrible, but for the price it didn't feel like a particularly great deal.”

“We loved our stay here! The house was so clean and cozy. A huge plus was how well-stocked the kitchen was. It had all the pots and pans we needed, plus thoughtful extras like coffee pods, salt, pepper, spices, and sugar. It made staying in to cook a few meals incredibly easy and convenient. Would definitely stay again!”

Thankfully, this place was available and Timothy helped us with last-minute reservations! Their stay was absolutely perfect! They were able to walk to the park and everywhere in downtown Appleton. He was very helpful and we really appreciated everything he did.”

“Great place for a small group, we were there for volleyball and just needed a roof over our heads and were quite happy with what they provided. Sangrias Mexican restaurant is a 5 minute walk so that’s a plus. Nothing to complain about Timothy was a great host would stay again for sure :).”
