“What a lovely property! This home was the perfect spot for our family to gather while we were in town for a wedding. Beautifully appointed with great indoor and outdoor common areas. As a group of foodies, we especially appreciated the large kitchen and spent most of our time gathered around the massive kitchen island. Very close to the center of town in St Michaels, with lots of options for restaurants and shopping. Would definitely recommend this spot and hope to return!”

“Dock of the Bay house is an adorable place! We loved watching sunsets on the deck overlooking the bay. They had kayaks & crab traps to use off the dock. House had everything you could need. Cozy, quiet, and only a short drive to St. Michael’s! We brought our boat & used the public boat launch and had a great time exploring the area by water. We were able to dock our boat for a fee at Wylder’s (2 min from the house) when the bay got too choppy & they allowed us to use their pool & sauna which our boys loved! Definitely would come back.”

The place is stunning, and being on the water provided a much-needed sense of peace as we all processed together. The kayak rental they recommended was super convenient and offered a wonderful respite for two of the family. For a premium property, there were some issues that prevented it from being a truly seamless stay, but we deeply appreciate Flaneur's efforts to resolve those issues in real-time. That commitment to guest comfort is the true measure of a 5-star host.”

The house is beautiful, peaceful and perfect for a family vacation. We found that our host was very responsive to questions. “This place is amazing! Beautiful well manicured scenery. Amazing views. All the bedrooms have what you need and a well equipped kitchen. We had a small issue that the host fixed immediately and was so responsive it was incredible. We really appreciate all their help and help getting to know and around the property ! I didn’t realize there was so much space like a little beach and dock with kayaks it was awesome!”

“Our original home rental became unavailable and The Flaneur Company found us an even more beautiful, spacious home. They were always responsive. An issue with the dryer came up before we arrived and they alerted us to the issue and offered to help with any laundry needs, which was very nice. The property was perfect and allowed for great family time.”

“This place exceeded all expectations. The house itself was beautiful, private, very classy and tasteful decor (nothing against normal waterfront homes but they can sometimes go a bit overboard on the cheesy beach decor and they did this once beautifully). It honestly felt like we’re in our own little oasis. The sunsets were beautiful and we were blessed with unseasonably warm weather so were even able to enjoy the pool and yard even more than we expected to. The hosts/management company were super nice and responsive as well—even bringing over the pool umbrellas and pool floats so we could enjoy the pool on a weekend we truly weren’t sure what the weather might be like. The house also has everything we could possibly want. If I had any minor feedback for future people staying there it would be that the living room is not really big and suited for a big group watching a movie etc. however that almost doesn’t matter bc the outside spaces are so incredible you won’t want to be inside!”
