“The check in process was tedious and unclear. At one point, it was misleading as well as there was a typo on the code to open the lock to get the keys to the house. Hard to find the lock location as well.”

“We felt being welcome from the beginning. The instructions, getting in touch with us, the arrival, everything went well. Though the parking garage is a bit tight, the apartment compensates it instantly. What a beautiful view and you even listen to the waves. This is a very cool place to stay, knowing that you have everything you need in a walkable distance. At the end of our stay, there were some misunderstandings with Five Star Properties and the way they communicated felt uncomfortable. Nevertheless, the place is gorgeous and regular communication is recommended.”

“We had our apartment building tented and needed a place to relocate. They claimed there was an underground parking space, which there was. However it was against the wall at the end and so slim a car wouldn’t fit. This condo is in a neighborhood that has no street parking unless you are a resident and have a city issued parking pass, so we had to struggle to find street parking 8 blocks away and walk home. The heat in the unit would not turn on and they said they would look into it and never responded. This is a professional money making company who is in it for the money. Also the couch is virtually unusable as it’s hard and uncomfortable. You can sit but not lie down, as there is a bump. Positive: the pool is like 90 degrees and nice to swim in. We were ripped off for $300 a night when we desperately needed a place to stay and protect my work vehicle.”

“Place was beautifully decorated, but towel bars were broken off walls, end tables were wobbly and unsecure, old towels, out of shampoo and bodywash. Also was accused of smoking inside property, which is 100% inaccurate. Overall nice property if you dont look too close”

“This is the worst airbnb experience we've ever had and the only time we've had to contacted airbnb to cancel mid trip. We booked a unit in Beverly Hills but we learned after booking that the actual address of the property is 5 min by car away from where it was shown. The unit looked like the photos and the neighborhood seemed safe (though no longer walking distance from Beverly Hills) so we checked in. The first night, we encountered several cockroaches in the bathroom. We had our 20 month old toddler and this was a big concerned for us. We contacted Five Star Properties and they told us they were sending someone to spray but no one ever came. After hours of back and forth with Airbnb, Airbnb refunded our full amount around 2:20pm. A few minutes later, someone barged into our unit as we are packing quickly to leave. He accused of us for lying about the cockroaches and told us we need to leave asap as we shouldn't stay for free. Hopefully this review will spare someone else.”

“Got there not like pics locked the door took 10 mins to lock. When I came back door wouldn’t open it was ghetto there. People screaming dogs barking smelled like mildew. Not as pictured. Couldn’t unlock door talked with hosts claimed someone was coming in 5 did not come so I asked for a refund since I didn’t feel safe. They refused and lied ghosted and hung up on me. I called air bnb support it took hrs to refund me even though the host lied and refused.”

“I’m not the one that likes to complain but this booking got me really upset! Not happy at all at the Host! The communication was poor! We were never informed that our booking was not available. We got to the apartment and found out that the apartment was double booked and was not informed by the host. We were never informed until we got to the apartment and tried to open the lock box and the key wasn’t in it. They never reached out to us until we had to call them. Make the story short they try to offer another unit, but we were not happy what they offered us. We were stranded. And we had to scramble to find another place, and it took us almost midnight to find another Airbnb that night. You can’t run a business like this!”

“Stay away from this place! The owners are shady and decided to create a false noise complaint so they could kick us out and not refund anything. They most likely knew a neighbor that would corroborate in the scheme and we had to leave and find a new place to stay at almost midnight. A host also came over and threatened us even though we had not been making excessive noise. I have not had any type of complaints on this anywhere in the world when I stayed at an Airbnb previously and we were basically just using the place to sleep and shower due to a very tight schedule. They also requested repairs on VERY minor wear and tear issues or issues that flat out did not exist when we left to charge me extra and retaliate. One of the hosts/representatives also has a felony record as well for an elaborate fraud scheme when I did some digging into this company/group of people. Shame on the Airbnb support team as well for not doing anything to rectify the situation.”

“Great value! Great communication, although I didn’t appreciate the constant upselling on early check ins and late check outs. Also I was communicating not with one host but with a group of host which took away from the personalization. But over all great value.”
