“This was such a wonderful stay. Gorgeous location, secluded but 10-15 minutes away from everything we wanted to do in both Monterey and Carmel. Surrounded by big trees and greenery, in a beautiful neighborhood, with cute NEIGHbors 🐴! The interior of the place makes it feel like you’re experiencing a true seaside retreat in a Nancy Meyers’ story. So quaint and cozy. Bedding was phenomenal. Lots of natural light. It was so easy to get in using the host’s clear instructions. Hosts were so friendly and responsive and let us check in a little early so we could get out and explore. :) we will 100% be coming back!”

“Last minute stay while we were visiting Carmel by the sea. It's a peaceful, cute little suite. Very clean, responsive host. The pump under the cottage didn't come on until long after we woke up. We didn't mind the sound of it either way. Good stay!”

“We had a great stay at Emerald's Modern Farmhouse over the 4th of July weekend! The upgraded property was accurate to the photos, and it was a perfect size for the 4 adults and 10-month old baby we had in our party. We had all the kitchenware we needed to cook our meals, and were even able to use the grill for some steaks. The string lights made a nice setting for the 2 al fresco dinners we had in the back yard. Location was great (a walkable coffee shop, accessible grocery stores, and a short drive to tasting rooms and wineries.) Check in and out were extremely easy, and the hosts were communicative - I'd definitely stay here again!”

“We were so happy to spend our wedding anniversary in such a peaceful and beautiful place. It became a truly special memory for us. Meeting Sienna, the neighbor’s dog, as soon as we arrived made us incredibly happy, and the spotless bathroom was especially memorable. The property is beautiful both inside and out, and we loved the sleeping area facing the windows. The smart TV was also a nice touch. All of the restaurant recommendations were excellent, and every meal was delicious. The location was perfect, with great restaurants and major attractions nearby. This place will always be a special part of our memories, and we would love to stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this space! It was so romantic and private — and most importantly, so CLEAN. The decor was beautiful. People aren’t lying about the water pump, it can be rather loud but they turn it off at night. It didn’t bother us much. We also absolutely loved the scenery around the property, especially the horse stable. Appreciated the thorough instructions provided on how to get to the property as well. The only “complaint” I have is the sleep number mattress is a little uncomfy/ weird and the pillows are suuuuper flat. But my husband and I are picky sleepers so take that with a grain of salt.”
