“Overall comfy place for 2 people to stay for a few nights and walking distance to the beach. The kitchen was nice and spacious and the living room comfy also. The bedroom is very small and you do have to go through the only bedroom to get to the only bathroom, so that could be challenging if staying with 4 guests. The bathroom was also very tiny but fine for quick showers. OK cleanliness.”

“We had a good stay in Rockaway Beach. Was close enough to all the things we wanted to do on the Oregon Coast.”

“For the most part, the stay was fine. However my issue with the rental was the hot water did not work in the shower. After a day at the beach, I was looking forward to a hot shower and after letting the water run for several minutes at full heat, the water did not get warm. I tried adjusting the knob to the cold setting to see if that helped and it didn’t. I messaged the owner that night letting him know. He got back to me the next day, after check out, to ask me to try putting the knob on the cold setting to see if that helped. I explained that while we already checked out, I did try that to no avail. Since the room was over $300 per night and we were not able to use a basic amenity, I tried to resolve the issue with the owner privately to request a partial refund. The owner said they checked the water and it is working so no. I have no reason to lie about our experience and I have a perfect rating on Airbnb which should demonstrate I’m not a scammer. Would not recommend.”

“Overall, this was a good option for a quick one-night stay. The room was comfortable and the location was very convenient. However, the bathroom was quite small, and the walls were a bit thin as we could hear noise from the neighboring room.”

“A great spot in Rockaway near the ocean! Plenty of things to daytrip to and great access to the beach from the property. Bright and light space and functional for what we needed with small kids.”
