“Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We rented this property for almost a month, but shortly after arriving, we noticed a persistent unpleasant smell and began experiencing coughing, sneezing, and severe headaches. We later discovered that the A/C filter was extremely dirty and appeared not to have been properly maintained for a very long time. What concerned us most was the host’s lack of urgency and empathy when we reported the situation and explained our health concerns. We ultimately felt uncomfortable remaining in the unit and decided to leave early. After a lengthy conversation, we received only a partial refund, which I do not believe was fair given the circumstances. I am especially concerned about future guests, including children, seniors, and others who may be more vulnerable to poor indoor air quality. I also wish Airbnb had taken the situation more seriously.”

“I spent 3 months here for an internship i had. The place was great! No major issues at all, very central to a bunch of food and stores with the tech center 5 minutes away. The only thing i think would be better would if the paper with all the codes and passwords was updated but it was an amazing stay. Gym is quiet and the pool is great!”

“We paid a lot of money to stay in this apartment. When we arrived, the apartment reeked of smoke (after being told this was a smoke free rental), the dishwasher did not work, there was no table or towels, all of the kitchen dishes were dirty, the apartment was disgusting, the bedding was stained, the rug was covered in cat hair, and there were no cleaning supplies present. We had to deep clean the whole apartment, provide new bedding, clean towels, and all other needed cleaning chemicals and supplies, clean each dish by hand without a dishwasher, and buy air fresheners to try and clean out some of the smoke smell. As well, there were no screens on the door or window to get fresh air into the apartment to help the smell. After nagging the landlord, the dishwasher was replaced, stained towels were brought over, and a very used couch was brought to replace the smoke smelling couch after 3 weeks. The landlord did not know the correct pool or gym code. The one star was given for the hot wa”

“Overall I was very pleased with the place and the stay! Great price, comfortable, exactly what I needed for a few months while I looked for something more permanent. Location was great for what I was after. Place was clean and comfortable. Overall the location was quiet, safe, and dog friendly. Most of the other residents I met were friendly. Plenty of close shopping and restaurants. The host was also very flexible with my stay. Kept it blocked off so I could periodically extend. Super helpful! Absolutely would choose this place again. The only issues I found were: make sure to do some communicating ahead of your trip. My code didn’t work and I got in late… show up at checkin so you can work through issues. There is no key for the mailbox so anything from the post office will be hard to get. The living room tv is not “smart” so bring a chrome or fire stick to get use of it. Communications was very very slow with host - don’t expect much”

“The apartment itself worked well for our month-long stay. It was a cute one-bedroom with a comfortable layout that suited our needs. Unfortunately, our experience with the host and management was frustrating. Communication before arrival was inconsistent. We were moved due to construction and promised photos, but didn’t hear back for nearly a month, and the images sent were already in the listing. The unit was not as clean as expected (we found multiple soda bottles under the bed), and there were maintenance issues, including a broken bar chair and damaged dryer lint tray. We were told to tape the dryer part ourselves and never received follow-up. There were also security concerns, we were able to enter another unit using our code, and our request to change it was never confirmed. The unit also differed from what we booked, including a much smaller, unusable balcony. Overall, the space had potential, but poor communication and lack of follow-through made the stay stressful.”

“Be very wary of staying a this place. Things were off from the start. Host very carefully cropped photos to hide issues and does not match the description. Beyond that the worst issues happened upon arrival, with noisy neighbors multiple times being disruptive throughout the night. The shared interior door is the culprit as they are hollow, so be prepared to ‘live’ with the neighbor. Additional issues include dirty walls, mold, dirty towels, damaged counters, holes in the walls, and a partial shower curtain in the bathroom. The kitchen area included a microwave without a cord to reach an outlet, dirty cups, and dirty paper towels. The bed frame was not attached to the headboard. A huge safety issue was that the fire alarm was taped/sealed off and not functional. The worst part of it all is that the host was non-responsive, requiring me to follow up multiple times for action—but with no outcome, resolution, or response to the anything. Be safe out there and avoid this place.”

“Play was completely dirty. There was trash in the bathroom. Mirrors were dirty. Bathtub was moldy SOS pads dish sponge in the bathroom. Refrigerator was completely dirty. It was extremely nasty dog hair everywhere. This place was not clean at all.”
