EVV Housing's guest rating of 4.72 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Place was okay, host responded up until I asked about heat and I never got a response until check out day to be reminded about 11am check out time. Microwave did not work, heat would be nice on rainy cool days, we had to go get a heater. we were left only 1 rag for 2 people we had to go get rags. Place was okay to sleep in. There was also stains on the walls which made us think that the pictures of the place on the site were old. Bathroom needs working on, stain on toilet. Sheets on bed had yellow stains at the top… air bnb and host just needs a little work. I appreciate the stay !”airbnb

“Our family was in the area for a funeral, we were concerned when we arrived as the front door to the apartment building was propped open (no code necessary), the lights in the hallway did not work, so we had to use the light from our phones to enter the code to get into the apartment. Upon entry the apartment smelled like someone had been smoking weed in the unit. The internet did not work during our stay, I reached out twice and received one message, but there was no resolution to the issue or communication after I reached out the 2nd time. There were not enough plates, coffee cups and other items for 5 people (so bring extra when u come). on the last day while preparing to leave, i killed a roach (only time) and we left. Overall the place served it's purpose of a place to sleep and bathe, all other amenities were meh. we got what we paid for and we will do better for the next trip.”airbnb

“This was in an older part of town and the building is generally in disrepair. The WiFi stopped working the first day and was not corrected. I was asked to contact the people in another Apt to have the modem power cycled. It was not my place to have to do that but no one answered the door when I tried anyway. At that point we canceled our reservation after day two and left. There were open trash containers in front of the building attracting many birds. The kitchen floor needed to be mopped when we arrived and the silverware was not adequate for 3 people, ie, there was only one fork and was not corrected before we left. The beds were very squeaky disturbing others trying to sleep. We will not be back.”airbnb

“This apartment is a nice location and easily accessible. The bathroom could use updating, as well as the HVAC system. However, the windows are nice vinyl replacements with screens so AC unit was not needed.”airbnb

“the stay was suitable for the price. but lacking in necessary items. no bath or hand towels when we arrived and when notified we were only brought two small bath towels and no hand towels. the apartment building itself is somewhat unsafe feeling as well with rowdy neighbors that are smoking in the stairwell. the smoke detectors in the room were also disconnected upon arrival. but for around $100 a night it seems like you get what you pay for. the space was small but comfortable. i wouldn’t recommend for a family though.”airbnb

“post said there was parking in a driveway but there was no parking, had to park a block away . also the basement where the washer and dryer are located could use a major clean up . beds were comfy .”airbnb

“The internet connection was very poor and almost unusable. We contacted the host but received no solution. The kitchen lacked sufficient utensils (only three sets of cutlery), and there was no sponge, detergent, or basic cleaning supplies. In general, the place was dirty, with a lot of dust and dead insects on the windows. It felt like the property was under repair. There was no electricity in the kitchen, so we had to plug the toaster and coffee maker into outlets in the dining room, and we even had to buy matches to be able to use the stove.”airbnb
