“We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was beautiful, with gorgeous, breathtaking views that made the entire trip feel like a true getaway. The deck was easily one of my favorite parts. It was so peaceful and relaxing that I could have stayed out there all day just taking in the scenery. The home itself was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and clean, which immediately made us feel right at home. Everything felt cozy, inviting, and well cared for. It was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend away, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay.”

“Upon arrival, there was a rancid smell coming from the sink area, dirty floors and windows, and excessive cobwebs in the common areas. The steps/landings to the dock were in poor condition, with a hole in the first landing and several weak spots. I contacted the rental agent through Airbnb. They did replace a few boards and remove the cobwebs, which I appreciated, but no one came to clean the inside or address the sink smell. The listing photos are definitely enhanced—the property is not nearly as nice in person. For the price, I’ve stayed at much nicer places for considerably less. On day four, the AC stopped working. They provided a small window unit, which helped but was not ideal for such a large area. We still enjoyed our family vacation and made the best of it, but overall the property was disappointing compared to the listing. For the price versus what we actually received, we would not stay here again.”

“The house was beautiful. The inside was beautiful. There was no hot tub though. The hosts did not communicate in the app. They did not respond so I had to call them. They didn’t supply laundry detergent which I thought was something they should supply. They didn’t post no laundry detergent though. There were no paddles for the kayaks either.”

“My Entire Family Chose this Beautiful Cabin because of the Privacy and Spacious Layout/Design of the House. It looks exactly how it does in the Airbnb Photos. The Surroundings/Driveway Landscape were so Beautiful & Well-Kept. It was about 10 minutes up the Road from Mercier Orchards and about 15-18 minutes into the Town Center of Blue Ridge. The Views on the Top Catwalk Balcony were so Beautiful especially in the Mornings when the Mist/Fog Surrounds the Mountains in the Distance. We never heard any Human-Made Noises or Voices only Native Birds and Nature in the Background. My Family would have given this Space 5-stars, But unfortunately we had to give it only a 4-Stars, due to the "4th Bedroom" Being outside, which was a detached Garage that was converted into a Bedroom with Bunk Beds. We COULD NOT use this "Bedroom" because it had a very Musky/Moldy smell, and disappointingly the Top Bunk was Dirty and it was not Cleaned/or Changed. Some Dishes were Dirty, so Note to Cleaning Crew!”

“The home is beautiful (though smaller than it appears in pictures) but I don’t think the cleaners are honest about their work. We were unable to use the back patio and jacuzzi due to poor cleaning, and the hosts were unwilling to believe us, even though photos were provided. A quick visit to the home would have convinced them I’m sure; very disappointing.”

“The stay was lovely. But the driveway is extremely steep and scrapped the bottom of the car the first time we pulled in. Other than not being warned about the driveway, the stay was excellent!”

“Awesome place! Would define go back. The sink broke while we were there and flooded the kitchen so that wasn’t fun. Also they aren’t very flexible with check-ins for people on road trips. The earliest you can check in is 2 hours early and they charge you to do so.”

“The cabin (and views) were absolutely beautiful - as pictured and would stay again. It was a bit too hot out for us to utilize the firepit area, but love that it was an option. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook food we brought, and the grill was nice to have as well. There is a grocery store ~7miles away for picking up things for your stay. We did have a bit of a wasp problem inside the cabin. The on call staff was helpful and sent out the maintence team, but proper pest control couldnt' come until after our checkout day, so we ultimately decided to check out early because of this (one guest extremely allergic if stung).
