“This condo is very comfortable and great for a family visiting the Lake Placid/Whiteface/ Mt Van Hoevenburg area. Great kitchen for cooking. Big comfortable bedrooms and a great basement to send the kids down to play. Slight downside: It was disappointing for our kids that the condo advertises ping pong and there were no ping pong balls to play with (part of why we chose this specific condo). Also important to note, you have to go and pick up keys (and then drop them back off when leaving) at a real estate office to get into the condo, which is not as convenient as a key pad when you are traveling in later at night. I did not realize this when booking so wanted to mention for others when coordinating their travel plans”

“Place is quiet, spacious, and in a good location. Very easy walk into town. A snow storm rolled in at the same time as us, but snow was cleared up almost as quickly as it came. Picking up/dropping off physical keys is a bit of a hassle. Rental office is almost a mile away from the property and Google maps routed me to the rear of the building even though there is a driveway to the parking lot off of the main road. We were told we could not check in early the day before, but then they came back and said we could check in early the day of. While it was nice to be able to check in early, not finding out until the day of makes planning the first day of a trip a but harder. Overall, the property is nice, the location is very good. There were minimal to-dos before check out. I just wish the check in/check out process was modernized.”

“Helen was our contact person and she was a gem. It turned out that there was an issue with the home we had initially rented so she gave us several options. The one we chose was very similar and close to the original home. So comfortable. Some relaxing areas, ample seating, a large working fireplace, a well-outfitted kitchen and comfortable, easily darkened bedrooms. The bathrooms had night lights. Lots of natural light in the house. Super clean! We just loved it! We actually added on a couple of days to the stay.”
