“Smelled strongly of mold when we arrived. Took a day of leaving the windows open to get rid of the smell. Bathtub was clogged with hair and wouldn’t drain. Spare blankets and pillows in the closet had mold stains on them. Stove didn’t work. We have stayed at this Resort multiple times and it’s sad when the standard resort rooms are maintained better than this room was. My family loves this resort and we will stay at this resort again just not this room. Amenities are great with indoor and outdoor heated pools and easy access to the beach.”

“The view is definitely the highlight of this condo! The condo itself could use some updating, as the appliances showed signs of rust, and there was quite a bit of dust throughout, making it seem as though the space hadn’t been used or thoroughly cleaned in some time. While there’s room for improvement, the view really is beautiful! If you’re looking for a simple place to rest your head while enjoying an amazing view, this could be a great option for you.”

“The office to pick up the hotel info was 5 mins from the hotel. You are limited to 1 parking spot so if you have multiple people be prepared. When we arrived at the hotel the room was much smaller than expected. The bathroom had long black hairs everywhere. The area rug in the living room was full of sand until I noticed a new unopened vacuum that I opened and vacuumed the rug and have a container of sand came out. They have a new washer/dryer combo that says 2 and 1/2 hrs for both but timed it and it took 4 hrs in total. Also when it runs the hotel room smells of cat urine. My children were so excited to get to go to the big waterslides and when we got there the man informed us that you cannot use them if you are Airbnb guests. There are 3 separate buildings that you have to walk to for different things. All in all I would not recommend to stay at the Breakers through Airbnb. Elliot/Myrtle Beach Rentals were friendly”

“I cannot deter you from this air bnb enough. There is so many reasons NOT rent this place 1) half of the lights don’t work, there is exposed wires from some 2) you are expected to supply your own toiletries: toilet paper, napkins, towels, and basic kitchen supplies. 3) the WiFi doesn’t work, instead of helping all I got was “did you restart the router?” 4) only one TV worked and it was the one that was upstairs 5) every closet has some kind of construction supply in it 6) the water pressure is absolute trash 7) upstairs is ridiculously hot even with the AC blasting 8) the garbage disposal was backed up and even after multiple attempts to clear it up nothing worked 9) you are expected to leave everything clean and spotless however you are not provided with any kind of cleaning supplies, so I have to buy my own dish soap to clean dishes here or else I am charged extra. No dish soap no sponge no dishwasher pods were provided. Staying here has been the biggest waste of money I’ve had.”

“Let me first say this the location was nice can’t complain about that at all We spent the first day cleaning that is ridiculous and we are paying guest Overall the furniture is wore out the place needs a complete makeover start with throwing away the couch they are disgusting so much crumbs I wish I would’ve known that before booking this property and the bugs in the refrigerator and the urine stains on the toilet and housekeeping never showed up to clean I had infants with me so that just made matters worse I cleaned the refrigerator good enough to store milk and the bugs came right back so we ended up not using anything but the counter tops I asked for a refund and what I received for that nasty property I could go on but i made it work but if another hotel was available I would have been gone but I didn’t want another one from them”

“This condo was listed as luxury but was only average. There were no closets to hang up our clothing. One closet was locked and the other was full of household items. Also there were no hangers. The furniture was very worn and scratched, needs to be replaced. The area rugs were filthy. Wall clock does not work. The linens and towels were very shabby. The description of the condo did not match the condition. Lastly for the price charged include the basics of toilet paper, dish soap, dish detergent, napkins, and paper towels. This was the 1st and probably last time that I used Elliott Rentals. I have stayed at many North Myrtle Beach condos with other rental companies. The service and condo condition was far superior to Elliot Rentals.”

“The view was beautiful…. In the master bedroom there was a stain on the pillow, we found hair in the shower, larvae in the bed, and roach skin, the home button on the remote did not work, so I had to turn the tv off and back on to get to the Home Screen, the comforter was definitely used. I’m the living room the pull out couch was dirty and had stains, there was socks underneath their, the ceiling fan was filthy. The kitchen stove wasn’t clean. The floors were dirty (our socks were literally black). One of the beds in the other bedroom had a board holding up the bed (no box spring), and the tv screen was broken. My sisters did not stay there because of this. I used to work at a Hilton Hotel as a housekeeper, and when we left something behind or still dirty they had us come back and clean it again. Whoever cleaned this AirBnB was in a rush. We were not comfortable at all.”

“We were immediately disappointed. I absolutely give this place a 0/10. We were deceived by the pictures. This place was dusty, dirty, and everything all above filthy filthy. The “oceanfront view” is very deceiving. We arrived late in the morning and for 6 hours, we were charged $200 plus. We were lied to and inconvenienced. I told this host this and it seemed as if they did not care and didn’t refund our entire amount. This place is trash and absolutely disgusting! NEVER AGAIN”

“I’m VERY UNHAPPY! My child found a dang condom wrapper in the children’s bedroom located by the front door!!!! A 6 year old child found it!! DISGUSTING! This was my first time visiting Myrtle beach and the unit I stayed in was horrible. I had to clean the entire unit before I could even put my things down. I was met with the smell of pee and old water. I went into the kitchen and there was old soggy food inside the sink, the stove had old food on it, the refrigerator was filthy. The pots and pans in the cabinets had old food inside the bottom of the pans.The amount of dust collected in here was TERRIBLE I’m allergic and it had me miserable! I contacted the host to see if I could get accommodation for it and she said she was going to send a cleaning crew to come to the unit without me even being there with my belongings inside. I felt uncomfortable so I declined. There was mens beard hair all over the sink in the big bathroom. There was hair inside the bathroom drain in the shower.”

“Unfortunately, we didn’t have a good stay. As soon as we got there, we were given instructions to get our key out of a lockbox out of our way from our destination. We were given the wrong key and ended up walking in and someone in the room half naked! Then were made to wait because they didn’t know what to do or understand what was happening so they put us a half hour away in another room. Only to find out shortly thereafter that our room key was wrong. We then went back to the hotel. This all happened about 7 o’clock at night ( 4pm arrival) since we just traveled from Michigan. When we got back, we immediately walked out on the patio and a member of our party had her finger half taken off by the door. Her along with two other members of our parties spent the night in the ER for her finger to be stitched back on. Needless to say, her vacation was ruined. The patio also had to be cleaned so we couldn’t enjoy that for three days as well.. There was bird poop covering it and furnishings”
