“Let me first say this the location was nice can’t complain about that at all We spent the first day cleaning that is ridiculous and we are paying guest Overall the furniture is wore out the place needs a complete makeover start with throwing away the couch they are disgusting so much crumbs I wish I would’ve known that before booking this property and the bugs in the refrigerator and the urine stains on the toilet and housekeeping never showed up to clean I had infants with me so that just made matters worse I cleaned the refrigerator good enough to store milk and the bugs came right back so we ended up not using anything but the counter tops I asked for a refund and what I received for that nasty property I could go on but i made it work but if another hotel was available I would have been gone but I didn’t want another one from them”airbnb

“Upon arrival, our check-in items were not in the lockbox, despite me informing the property multiple times before booking, after booking, and while traveling that we would arrive after hours. We waited about 1.5 hours for someone to come to the office and assist us, which caused us to get into the condo after midnight. Once inside, the condo was extremely dirty and poorly maintained, with visible stains, holes in the walls, and dirt throughout the unit. I wiped the kitchen counters with Clorox wipes, and they were brown afterward. There was visible dirt in the refrigerator, bathrooms, floors, and other areas. I also took several photos documenting the condition. Someone came the next morning to clean, but she arrived with only bleach spray and a washcloth and stated she could not properly clean the floors. The condo remained dirty afterward. I do appreciate that management relocated us to a much better unit and reimbursed our parking costs since the onsite parking lot was full.”airbnb

“Place wasn’t bad, however cleanliness wise it could have been cleaned more thoroughly. The rack in the shower had noticeable dry soap that could have been scrubbed off, and we patted the bed right before leaving because we were just balling up the sheets, and so much dust came off the mattress, it made me feel funny that we had been sleeping on that but we realized it right when we were leaving and couldn’t do nothing about it. The area was a good spot and very peaceful. We did have to call maintenance to fix a couple issues and they were very thorough with that.”airbnb

“This condo was listed as luxury but was only average. There were no closets to hang up our clothing. One closet was locked and the other was full of household items. Also there were no hangers. The furniture was very worn and scratched, needs to be replaced. The area rugs were filthy. Wall clock does not work. The linens and towels were very shabby. The description of the condo did not match the condition. Lastly for the price charged include the basics of toilet paper, dish soap, dish detergent, napkins, and paper towels. This was the 1st and probably last time that I used Elliott Rentals. I have stayed at many North Myrtle Beach condos with other rental companies. The service and condo condition was far superior to Elliot Rentals.”airbnb

“My review Booking through Elliot rentals is not suggested. To get door code you have to go to their office first. Bedding is delivered to your room and YOU have to make/ unmake the beds. The sheets/ pillow cases, packaged and clean, mostly all stained. The bedding was old/very used/uncomfortable. We bought new blankets to use while staying there. All of the bathrooms were very dirty. The showers and floors/walls/ kitchen counters/stove top were dirty. Trash/ old food (FF) were found laying on the floor. Childs toys were found under the bed and couch. We had to fully clean the place upon arrival. Elliot rentals did refund the 157$ cleaning fee paid when booking. That was not enough to cover the stress and frustration of driving 10 hours then having to clean before even using a bathroom. Luckily we had brought cleaner. The resort was very clean and updated. The pools and hot tubs were very nice. The restraunts and bar area was very nice. I would recommend Baywatch but not Elliot rental”airbnb

“The view was beautiful…. In the master bedroom there was a stain on the pillow, we found hair in the shower, larvae in the bed, and roach skin, the home button on the remote did not work, so I had to turn the tv off and back on to get to the Home Screen, the comforter was definitely used. I’m the living room the pull out couch was dirty and had stains, there was socks underneath their, the ceiling fan was filthy. The kitchen stove wasn’t clean. The floors were dirty (our socks were literally black). One of the beds in the other bedroom had a board holding up the bed (no box spring), and the tv screen was broken. My sisters did not stay there because of this. I used to work at a Hilton Hotel as a housekeeper, and when we left something behind or still dirty they had us come back and clean it again. Whoever cleaned this AirBnB was in a rush. We were not comfortable at all.”airbnb

“We were immediately disappointed. I absolutely give this place a 0/10. We were deceived by the pictures. This place was dusty, dirty, and everything all above filthy filthy. The “oceanfront view” is very deceiving. We arrived late in the morning and for 6 hours, we were charged $200 plus. We were lied to and inconvenienced. I told this host this and it seemed as if they did not care and didn’t refund our entire amount. This place is trash and absolutely disgusting! NEVER AGAIN”airbnb
