Ellion Beach Rentals
4.53
Ellion Beach Rentals's guest rating of 4.53 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Room was nice. Some of the TVs did not work like a smart TV. There was a rooftop just a few feet from the rooms balcony that other guest discarded the trash that was no cleaned daily. Other than that it was a nice place. There was insufficuent bedding replacement and no mattress coverings to protect the mattresses.”airbnb

“Close to beach , was able to walk. WiFi wouldn’t work. Small pieces of trash on floor and jewelry. Had to clean floor for my kids not putting it in their mouths.”airbnb

“Location: GREAT, so many options for food and entertainment close by! Resort: Good, there is a tiki bar near pool area that has an awesome happy hour deal and overall decent pricing and NY pizza restaurant inside condo! You can rent chairs and umbrella for very good price compared to others I’ve rented but if you want to get 2 umbrellas like we did for our 3month old and 2 year old they make you pay for a whole other chair set too. And they tried making us put umbrellas down one day for slight wind even though the beach service kept theirs up, kind of rude with having a new baby to shade… Room: only ok, it’s a place to sleep and shower but the room felt kind of dirty. I know it’s hard to keep very clean with all the sand and dirt that comes from beach but the rug looked stained, curtains were ripped, bathroom had black all around tub, other bathroom had leaking shower faucet, and cheap feeling things like the lamp shades which one was literally hanging off light bulb.”airbnb

“We had a great stay! The location was convenient, and the property was modern, updated appliances that made our visit comfortable. The only downside was that the rules and enforcement were a bit stricter than expected. Between the residents and on-site security, it sometimes felt overly monitored. Aside from that, the property itself was excellent, and we enjoyed our stay.”airbnb

“The place was well decorated and beautiful however, it was very dirty. Carpet was extremely filthy, clear that it was not cleaned/vaccumed. Floors were filthy as well. The biggest issue were the bed sheets on both beds. Hair all over them, and even debris and stain. Towels in the bathroom were also unclean. Had stains and even smelled dirty. Even trash behind the trash can. The entire place was just clearly not cleaned prior to our arrival as was promised which was extremely disappointing. It took us two hours to clean it when we arrived just for it to feel at least somewhat decent. When we reached out about the issues, someone came to bring us fresh linens but did nothing at all to clean. The place was very convenient though and the view from the balcony was very beautiful. Had it not been for the standard of cleanliness I would’ve absolutely considered coming back as it was a very beautiful place to stay but I do think that whoever is hired to clean the unit is not doing their job.”airbnb

“The home itself was acceptable, but the surrounding area included several poorly maintained properties. When we arrived, my daughter stepped on broken glass in the kitchen. The dryer did not work properly and shredded some of our clothes. We also noticed the blinds on the back door were falling off, but simply reported these issues so they could be repaired after our stay. Despite telling the rental company that repairs could wait until after checkout because our dog was in the home, a maintenance worker entered without notifying us. We only discovered this because of our pet camera. After we asked to be notified before anyone entered, a different maintenance worker entered again the next day to change the lock batteries without any notice. He also picked up and moved our camera. This made us feel uncomfortable, unsafe leaving the home, and caused unnecessary stress for our dog. They acted like this happened all the time. We stayed with other rental companies and never had this issue.”airbnb

“Upon Arrival To The House. Opened The Door & There Was 3 Broken Steps, That I Did Make Them Aware Of. Everyone Was Cautious But We Did Have 2 Girls Fall & Were Brusied Up. They Didn't Try To Fix The Stairs During The Stay Or Apologize For This Inconvenience. There Was One Bed That Was Not Made & Alot Of The Pilliows Didn't Have Cases On Them. There Was No Hot Water On The 3rd Floor. I Called Elliot & They Made A Ticket. They Also Wanted Us To Go Around & Find Something Plugged In, We Are On Vacation & Shouldn't Be Doing Maintence Job. We Found A Plug & Everything Was Plug In. It Took 3.5 Days To Get Hot Water & We Were Not Aware That Anyone Came & Fixed The Hot Water. Until We Tryed To Turn It On That Night. It Was 5 Teenages On The 3rd Floor & Everyone Had To Share 3 Bathrooms, With 5 Adults. So In Total 10 People Had To Share Three Bathroom. When Talking To Elliot Rentals, They Did Not Seem To Care Given It Was Not There Problem. Alot Of Issues With This Property & Elliot Only”airbnb

“The beach house is a great location to the beach. House needs to be deep cleaned. Floors and bathrooms were dirty. The showers floors were dirty and the glass enclosures had mold.”airbnb

“I was so disappointed in the condition of the home. We ended up cleaning the microwave and bathroom upon arrival ourselves. The house smelled as if it had been closed in. The steps going in fell apart. The cleanup crew came a day early and had threw out part of our food before my nephew stopped them. The grounds around the private beach entrance and pool was trashed clearly not cleaned before our arrival. Even the furniture on the patio clearly hadn’t been wiped down or washed. Management never called me back to address these issues!”airbnb

“For the price we paid, we do not receive the quality of service or amenities. The porch was 1/2 repaired, the pool was not accessible, the sliding door glass was broken in the 3rd bedroom, the trash can was missing (stolen before we arrived) the 3rd leaked onto the kitchen table the day of my wedding ruining my eating area. I would like to request a refund of 1/2 of what we paid.”airbnb
