“Beautiful place! My friends and I visited Traverse City for the first time and had a lovely time staying here. It was also close to the city without being around all the heavy traffic areas.”

“The condo worked well for our stay in Traverse City Area. Not far from TC or anything in the Bay Area. Kitchen had what we needed to make breakfast and everything was very clean. Only 2 things I’ll mention, if arriving after dark, the signs are hard to see for the buildings, the parking lot isn’t well lit. The second is that the 3rd bedroom is actually a loft space. Not a deal breaker for our group, but could be for some if you don’t realize this when booking like I did.”

“The place was great, however there was a loud group of folks from the bar below standing outside the main bedroom window talking loud until 2am. The listing does mention the condo is in the same building as the pub, it just took me by surprise how loud it was. I’m not faulting the management company, we just ended up leaving a night early.”

“Lovely place, spacious and great setting. However, the layout of the rooms did not work well at all for our elderly family member with mobility issues. Unfortunately, I had messaged with the host prior to booking and was assured that once inside the home, my MIL would have no need to go up and down the stairs and that she could remain on the first floor. Well, she had to negotiate a very steep set of stairs multiple times a day to get from the driveway and kitchen level (upstairs) to the living room and her bedroom. The layout is as follows: Driveway to front door = approx 5 to 6 steps Main floor (front door level) = kitchen, dining room, kids' bedroom (loft bed, cannot be used by elderly people as sits very low to the ground), full bathroom Lower level (very steep staircase) = 3 large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, living room, deck). Also, the utilities sit adjacent to the primary bedroom and the water pump was very loud whenever water was used, especially in the middle of the night.”

“The location is wonderful right on the beach, extremely pretty for morning coffees. The unit is on the ground floor and there is a unit above, if there are guests above you, you will hear them, footsteps, furniture moving, walking, you’re at the mercy of whoever is upstairs hoping they aren’t up late. There was a loud knocking in the plumbing that would happen anytime somebody used water upstairs, it woke us up numerous times early in the morning and through out the night. Everything was great , however; I would recommend renting the upstairs unit or another unit without a unit above you. Getting woken up was the downfall of the stay.”

“Nice Place and as advertised.”

“We booked a last minute trip to TC for a family member’s birthday. It was easy to get in and instructions were clear. The bathroom and bedroom were pretty clean. Although we went to make some food and there were several pans that had left over food on them. So we had to run the dishes before we could use them. One of the cups had a noticeable leak in it on the bottom. There is tape over the threshold which was concerning since I have small kids. And be careful with the closet door in the bedroom. When we opened it, the door completely came off and I was holding my daughter and I had to hold it up to keep it from falling down until my husband could come and help me. My husband re attached it and we just avoided the closet for the rest of the stay. For a last minute trip it was okay, but I wouldn’t book here again.”

“I wish the listing was more clear about the parking situation. It mentioned free parking, but the lot behind the units was extremely small and there were absolutely not enough parking spots to accommodate all the guests at this building. When I've stayed at these units previously with other hosts, they offer a parking pass for the parking garage next door. Troy didn't. I had to pay an additional $20 per night for parking, which made this a way worse deal. The listing wasn't clear about that essentially mandatory additional charge. I encourage Troy to invest in a parking pass for his guests. It's a small charge that goes a long way with guests since the parking situation is less than ideal.”

“Bonfire and lake area was way smaller than expected but we made the most out of it. Only issue was all the dishes were dirty when we tried to use them so we just ate out majority of the time. Other than that had a good time with our family”
