“Amazing house with a great view and great neighborhood amenities. So spacious for our family of 7. The view of the water was beautiful and relaxing. There were so many deer to enjoy watching in the yard and neighborhood. The kids loved playing on the waters edge off the small beach like area (ages 4 and 5). Easy drive to Blue Ridge to enjoy the downtown area as well as picking apples at Mercier Orchard. Brad was a great host. His home provides so many things that go a long way in making your stay comfortable…well stocked kitchen for cooking, flash lights, napkins, dish soap, tissues, comfortable bedding, trash bags, fire starters, etc. He truly does go above and beyond to make his guests enjoy their stay. His communication was too notch and very responsive if I had a question for him. Thank you for a wonderful stay!”

“This place is magical. The architecture and little touches are gorgeous and the ambience is so wonderful. You have a near-private river for tubing, fishing and floating. You have deer visiting you every evening. You have a secret room for the kids to discover and disappear into. :) it’s truly a magical place. Brad was super helpful and it’s worth every penny.”

“Had the best time during our stay. Everything is set up and well stocked for your enjoyment and relaxation. Loved having a separate space for the kids downstairs in the bunk room and game room. We saw so much wildlife - deer everywhere and a bear crossed right in front of our car. The river access was perfect for our summer getaway from the Florida heat. Brad gave us all the info we needed before we arrived including great directions for safely and easily finding the place and avoiding some unpaved and steep roads. Can't wait to return.”

“The most beautiful setting for a relaxing summer vacation! Our kids (ranging in ages from 4-12) had the time of their lives playing in the river! From fishing, to tubing, to skipping rocks- this escape from all of the hustle and bustle of home was exactly what we needed to recharge! The house was great- well stocked, quick 15 min drive into town. And the deer! Oh my goodness- just incredible- they were everywhere! There are a LOT of stairs- but we just considered that part of our daily workout. :) Washer and dryer worked great- and was a lifesaver with all the wet clothes and towels from playing out back. 100% would love to stay here again! Brad was fantastic and super responsive anytime I had a question. Do yourself a favor and book this one!”

“We booked this beautiful spot as a destination to celebrate our son's 40th birthday with close friends and family. It was PERFECT in every way possible. The property was peaceful and stunning, with a deck overlooking the river and a small private beach. The home was spotless and more than simply spacious as there were several areas to congregate, both inside and out. Attention to detail was evident in all the spaces, including a Kerig coffee pot and bottled water in every bedroom. Just as importantly, Brad was very welcoming and friendly answering every question we had prior to arrival and beyond. We all had a wonderful time and it was hard to leave. As long as this home is available to rent, it will be our only go-to mountain retreat!”
