“Great location close to the beach, steps away from the ocean! Plenty of great places to eat, walk to and check out the area. The home was very clean and comfortable, and kitchen is stocked with dishes/appliances etc. Our host was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with! We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it! Thanks for a great time :)”

“We stayed here with our toddler and my parents and had a wonderful stay. The home was very clean, well equipped, and has a great layout, though there are lots of stairs. The ground-floor garage is a huge plus since street parking is difficult. It comfortably fits one car; two may be tight even if compact. Two bedrooms and a bath are on the 2nd floor, while the primary bedroom, living/kitchen area, 1.5 baths and balcony are on the 3rd. The bay side of the beach is just a few minutes’ walk away, with calm, clear water that was perfect for our toddler. Beach towels, sand toys and a great beach wagon were provided. The beds are quite soft, and the king bed frame creaked/shook with movement. AC was great on the 2nd floor but weak on the 3rd; a fan in the primary bedroom would help. You can hear planes outside due to the flight path, but it wasn’t bad indoors. Check-in was easy and the host was accommodating. Overall, a wonderful rental with just a few minor improvements needed.”

“Great place. South Mission Bay is the place to be. Very nice home! Completely renovated inside and out. Super responsive host. Tons to do. All within walking distance. Really clean. Beautiful kitchen and really nice bathrooms. Beds were super comfy. Highly recommended place to stay. Would return. Thanks for a wonderful stay!”

“We had such a lovely stay! We had 8 people and 3 generations, and the house suited us perfectly. It felt spacious with our differing sleeping schedules, and the linens and pillows were great. Comfy beds, too! The house was every bit as great as it was described in the listing, and we kept finding more details as our stay went on. The location was great—close to everything but still quiet—and the reserved parking was a huge perk. We highly recommend this Drift Vacation Home and would love to return someday.”

The location and views were amazing, and the home had everything we could have asked for. But what really made our stay special were the owners. They were genuinely some of the nicest and most welcoming people we’ve ever met. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and even surprised us by gifting us bottles of wine, which was such a thoughtful and generous touch. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone looking for an amazing beachfront getaway!”
