“Great view, nice little resort, although bed is a King, it has seen many moons, but overall nice place to stay.”

“I believe this host heavily on the staff as she has employee local there when people take pictures they can take them in away where things may appear to be clean, appear to be in order but once you actually physically see and smell things that’s something different. One of the twin beds were actually completely missing. I think the property is dated I was very disappointed in her response that left me and my family stranded until 1 o’clock in the morning that ultimately ruined our family vacation especially after coming so far we had everything planned based on this location and we end up moving three times for a three day weekend and we were here for a wedding”

“Wish I could leave less than one star! Very disappointing stay. The unit had serious cleanliness and habitability issues, including mold and a roach infestation that were present from the beginning of our stay. Because of the condition of the property, we had to shorten our stay. Unfortunately, I also felt that my concerns were dismissed rather than taken seriously, by the host or Airbnb, which was very concerning. Guests deserve a clean, safe, and properly maintained property. Based on my experience, I would never stay here again or recommend this Airbnb.”

“No instructions on how to get through the gate and the gate was not manned upon arrival and had to wait for someone to come around. After getting out of the truck when we arrived we were greeted by a horrible smell outside that lasted the entirety of our stay. Went to shower and the hot water was inconsistent and the shower drain was backed up. The next morning I walked down to the beach and when trying to return the gate pass didn’t work so I had to walk around the entire complex with a bad knee just to get back. Sheets, and rugs were stained and they only supply one detergent pod and threaten a $100 fine for using different pods. Just not worth the price. Dealing with nasty smells and equipment not working. Was given a window for repairing the shower drain and they showed up hours later. Also no compensation was offered for the issues and that is unacceptable.”

“The location and complex pool were good, and the beach was clean. Unfortunately, the building is old and has a lot of mold; the apartment itself wasn't very clean—the floor was dirty, and there was old dust on the bathroom fans and light fixtures. There was also a strong smell of Indian spices lingering in the apartment. On our first day, we reported a broken kitchen cabinet door and a malfunctioning dryer, but no one came to fix them; likewise, no one responded to our complaint about the dirty floor or came to clean it. It was frustrating that, on our final evening—after three days of being unable to wash or dry our clothes—none of the issues had been resolved. We were offered the chance to do our laundry in a neighboring apartment the night before we left. We had booked this specific apartment because it offered laundry and drying facilities, yet we were unable to use them and had to go out and buy new clothes instead.”

“This place is absolutely not worth the $1,200 we paid. The listing is extremely misleading, and the photos make the condo look much nicer than it actually is. We were told we could check in early, but when we arrived the cleaning lady was still inside with her child, which was awkward and unprofessional considering the host said the unit was ready. The condo itself felt cheap, and the bedroom window had almost no privacy we could see straight through it and had to hang a blanket over it ourselves. The bed was another disappointment because the listing shows a nice, fully made bed with what appears to be a comforter, but all they provided was an extremely thin quilt that was uncomfortable to sleep with every night. On top of that, the condo is on the 17th floor, and the elevators were constantly breaking down, making it a huge hassle just to get in and out of the building. To make matters worse, there wasn’t even hand soap in either bathroom or the kitchen. For a place charging this muc”

“She was very nice and communicative at first. Got us checked in an hour early. Everything was great. The beds and couch was not comfortable at all! The bunk beds were incredibly uncomfortable and every bed was noisy everytime you got off of them. New mattress are 100% needed. Nothing was really let known in messages about firmly having the parking pass in the dash and can’t let it ever fall down or away from the dash or else your car will get towed. So ours fell down I guess when we got out and we woke up the next morning and our car was gone!! She never stressed that enough. It was on ONE line when you filled out your vehicle info that said “put vehicle pass on dashboard” which we did but it’s a small dashboard and must have fell when we got out. We had it there going through the gate cause we had to show it to get in! So the towed our vehicle and nothing is being reimbursed for it!”

“My experience can be different from others, and others can be different from mine however, this was not a very peaceful choice at the end my computer and my son‘s iPad has to be replaced due to moist of the place. There was a night where the AC went out. It could’ve been Cleaner and the smell. You have to deal with and extremely loud noise.”

“Overall, the place was okay. It’s in a good location and having beach access was nice, but the parking across the road wasn’t ideal. I personally wouldn’t want to stay here with my kids for that reason. The floors were also pretty nasty, and it was obvious the furniture isn’t moved when cleaning because we found trash underneath it. The beds in one of the rooms were also extremely uncomfortable. On our last day, the washer stopped working. I reached out but didn’t hear back for several hours, so we had to wring our clothes out ourselves to get them dry. I also don’t love being asked to start laundry, the dishwasher, etc. before checkout. I didn’t lower my rating for that since it’s pretty standard at Airbnbs, but the best ones I’ve stayed at have provided more of a hotel experience where guests aren’t responsible for cleaning. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible stay, but there are definitely areas that could be improved.”

“If you booked this unit expecting 3 king beds (like the listing said until we pointed it out), you should reconsider. We arrived and found 2 king beds and two twin beds, and had to go out and buy air mattresses. The host was no help and simply updated the listing. Overall the unit was nice, definitely some things that could be done differently. The pools on property are great as well as the location. Would definitely stay at Laketown Wharf again!”
