Destination Paradise
4.78Visit website
Destination Paradise's guest rating of 4.78 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The communication was good , the location is good , but too much rules like signed contract , all time received rules about elevator, jacuzzi ,etc !! The house is beautiful, the rooms amazing !! I just think didn’t have space enough for the area of family room !! Doesn’t have space enough if you are with your family for site in the table all together !! The grill is on the first floor if you are doing barbecue it’s impossible to be everybody together!! The location amazing and house beautiful!!! I recommend”airbnb

“We recently stayed at Destination Paradice with our family. The home was beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped. However, for the premium price, several issues were disappointing. The Wolf ovens did not work properly, the smaller oven wouldn't turn on, and the larger one cooked unevenly. The shower in the bedroom off the kitchen leaked onto the floor every time it was used. The beach access shown in the listing photos is no longer available due to signage from a neighbor, and the alternate path shown nowhere in the listing was poorly maintained. My mother-in-law got a deep cut on her shin from a branch sticking into the path and is now seeking medical attention. The master bedroom has no blinds, so sunlight floods the room early each morning. Lastly, I was charged a full week's pet fee even though the dog stayed only a few days, despite the listing stating a $25/day pet fee. Overall, the home was nice, but the listing was not fully accurate and does not justify the price we paid.”airbnb

“Cottage was clean, well furnished, waking distance to the crescent beach. We were comfortable. There is a small swimming pool. The only complaint is almost every morning at 8 AM someone came with a loud blower to clean up. It was annoying as I would like to sleep in on my vacation”airbnb

“This place as an amazing location!! Privet beach with plenty of parking. That was all that was amazing. The place was very out dated. From the beds, to the sofa and especially the bathroom. Bed felt hard with very thin pillows. First time I stay at an Air BnB that does not provide Shampoo, conditioner.”airbnb

“Runaway Bay is a beautiful location. We booked this condo based on location and pictures of a beautiful condo. The condo does not look like the pictures at all. When we called the rental company about it they did not care at all and said the photos were professional photos so the place might look a little different. It's the same layout but not furnished nicely or well supplied. If you are renting and expecting a beautifully furnished place you will be disappointed. Also, if you expect 2 twin beds like the photos show, you will be disappointed. There is a small foam mattress to lay on the floor for an extra bed. The description and pictures do not line up. We had issues with the washer and dryer. We were first told that there was no way the dryer didn't work as the cleaning crew uses them and would have contacted them. Then they send a maintenance guy and he was super nice. He did the best he could to fix it so it somewhat worked. All in all we would not rent from this company again.”airbnb

“The beach location was great and the unit was clean and they have a very nice patio with two grills, tiki shelters with tables, tree swings, and basic beach toys in a shed. The negatives were: -no soap, shampoo, or kleenex provided -hostile and unfriendly management mesages -rigid 4pm check in and 10pm check out with "dont ask" policy (full extra day charged for early or late check in) made the whole experience rushed and unwelcoming -unit was in poor condition with rust stains on refrigerator and bathroom mirror and peeling cabinets in kitchen and bath -missing basic things in kitchen like salt, coffee filters or enough bowls or mugs -advertised as three beds but wasnt clear that third bed was pull out couch. -building has 6 units which makes whole yard shared and you look right into lower units which lack privacy and can feel awkward”airbnb

“It was a great stay but would have loved to know more about the bus stop featured in the listing. When we asked about it no information could be provided. The pictures advertised showed the larger units instead of the one we stayed in. A bit different than expected but still a lovely stay and would defiantly stay again.”airbnb

“Photos were misleading when I booked. The listing showcased beautiful, unobstructed beach views from the balcony and deck, along with abutting quiet green space. In reality the beachfront view is blocked by a new oceanfront building not depicted. All the private balconies look out onto active major construction. While they don't have control over this I would expect photos be updated in this case or at least a warning to be given to renters. When I pointed out the discrepancies and expressed some disappointment Travis was defensive and hostile and unprofessional. According to the host "no one rents for the views". Very shocked by this behavior and overall experience given all the other positive reviews they get. They have since adjusted the description...Good luck”airbnb

“so I submitted my four night payment for about $2226 after your fees and right after I did the host sends me a message telling me I need to sign a contract lease for those four days and submit my documentation on an off platform website. I know the area and had headed in a general direction already so I was driving. They kept telling me that I had 10 minutes to submit the signed lease and documentation or I would not get checking information on the way there. There was a motorcycle wreck at the roundabout, connecting the ringling bridge downtown. I literally had to call the police who kept me on the phone longer than expected when I got a message the place would be ready in 30 minutes. The host kept telling me I needed to stop and fill out their lease where they wouldn’t give me check information while I tried to explain that I would prefer a cancellation refund because I didn’t want to wait 30 minutes and they were being too demanding and making threats eventually, Airbnb refunded me.”airbnb
