Destination Kauai

“This area at Poipu Craters is filled with lovely greenery and many bird songs. It is peaceful and the breeze and rain showers make it a great place to relax. The view of the pool from the unit is lovely. We were granted an early check in as our flight got in early and the host was responsive and helpful. We enjoyed playing a little tennis on the old court , but it was still fun. Unit seemed smaller in photos , or maybe it was the layout. We used the oven for a frozen pizza night and it started smoking heavily, seems to need a good cleaning. We didn’t leave any food out overnight per house manual however there were plenty of ants the next day. I think the home could use a little TLC , the bed was comfy and lines were clean and lots of pillows, thank you !”

“For our first visit to Kaua’i this was the perfect place to stay! It had everything we needed for the two of us and it was cute & cozy. They even had an umbrella and beach chairs for us to use which we really appreciated. Even the neighbor, Dallas, was friendly and welcomed us to the island upon arrival. Kitchen was fully stocked, A/C works really quickly and washer & dryer worked great. We loved the clothesline they setup in the garage, it helped a lot with our beach clothes & towels. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit next!”

“The house wasn’t bad, but the location wasn’t what we expected. The beach wasn’t truly a “sit on and hang out beach” there was a small homeless encampment at the entrance of the beach that made it not inviting for me to take my small children. Locks on the house were old and hard to deal with too. The A/C in the bedrooms worked great, but the living room A/C was broken. The backyard was nice but the only way to get to it was to go outside and walk around to the gates which were hard to open. And we were used to roosters and chickens from our trip but there were so many and they crowed the entire night. It wasn’t terrible, the inside was clean, the beds were comfortable but just lots of things weren’t what was expected and the location and its surrounding weren’t great.”

“Great for families. While our baby napped inside, we were able to use our baby monitor and go sit at the pool. Great amenities and the host provides you with the small items you don’t need to go out and get on your first day.”
