Destination Kauai
4.74Visit website
Destination Kauai's guest rating of 4.74 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Destination Kauai is top tier. Forget the nearby hotels and resorts. This is the place you want to stay! First of all, the location is perfect. It’s directly across the street from Kōloa Landing which has some of the best snorkeling. Another great thing about the location is how there are tons of restaurants and shops a walkable distance away. Secondly, the home is cute, comfortable, and clean. Every bedroom has a mini-split for AC, every bedroom has a ceiling fan, and they also had a stand up fan in the closets which is perfect for those who like white noise. Other details we appreciated were the luggage racks in every bedroom, thick curtains on the windows, and the outdoor shower and toilet. At the end of a day of exploring and touring, we loved returning to our AirBnB where it was just us; nobody above or below or across a hall, no elevators to share. Super private and peaceful, which is just what we needed!”airbnb

“The location is perfect! You can walk to the beach as well as several restaurants like Puka dog, Brenecke’s, and Kalapaki Joe’s. It really helped that they provided a rolling wagon, beach chairs, and umbrella. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. We would stay here again and we have visited Poipu many times. Note: they are clear about this in the description but A/C is only in the two bedrooms but does work great at night. There are lots of fans for the rest of the unit to keep air moving from the windows and balconies. Also, the entry has a staircase from the front door to the first main floor and then another staircase up to the loft bedroom. This was fine for us but should be clear to anyone that cannot climb stairs easily.”airbnb

“This was an amazing place to stay in Poipu. Beautiful space and location. Lots of room to relax. Pools were enjoyable. The fans helped keep the place cool. Location to the beach was the best, short walk across the property.”airbnb

“Wonderful place! The balcony was the perfect spot to enjoy my morning coffee while taking in the beautiful ocean view. The house had everything you could possibly need, and the air conditioning in the bedroom made sleeping incredibly comfortable. The bed was super comfortable as well. I can’t say enough good things about this place, it truly exceeded my expectations. It’s also only about a 5-minute walk to the beaches, making the location ideal. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!”airbnb

“The winning feature of this place is definitely the view. It was so magical having a front row seat to watch the waves hit the shore and to be able to see marine life like sea turtles! The location was walking distance to Brenneke's beach and Poipu beach. The condo was nicely decorated and generally comfortable for our family of four. We did notice that the air conditioning in the master suite was not working as well as needed, so nights were a bit warm, but nothing we couldn't tolerate. I would also want to warn future guests that the walk from the parking lot does involve more stairs than we realized. Generally it was fine, but a bit challenging when hauling our bags. But that is the price you pay to get that close to the ocean. We found the place well stocked with access to beach towels and chairs, including a variety of board games which our family enjoyed playing in the evenings.”airbnb
