“We loved our stay! We will definitely be coming back. It was so peaceful — we got to see a coyote, hear coyotes in the morning, and there were hummingbirds everywhere, along with cicadas, bees, and even a little quail family. It was truly a wonderful experience. Beyond that, they were incredibly communicative and almost functioned like a concierge service, offering so many great recommendations and always responding quickly. Highly recommend!”

“The White Owl House was a lovely property, as described on the listing. Very private, great star viewing and close to town. I used the pool (a bit chilly but refreshing), the hot tub and the Hypedome - all very clean and perfect for my week-day getaway. Host was extremely responsive and all instructions were clear for entry and use of the amenities. I would definitely stay there again.”

“I was extremely impressed with this house. All amenities were in terrific shape. This house exceeded my expectations! Eventhough it is pet friendly, the place was spotless and clean upon arrival. All ammenities were labeled wihch made finding tools very easy. This house had so many ammenities! Hot Tub worked and increased heat, the pool was beautiful and clean, the fire pit was such a nice feature and we could stargaze! All of the outside and inside furnity was modern, clean and comfortable! All of the beds were extremely comfortable. We appreciated all of the small additions as well. Look forward to coming back!”

“We booked this property for a family vacation based on the listing photos and amenities but unfortunately, the home did not match expectations. Upon arrival we found broken glass on the pool deck, ants throughout the kitchen, garbage and debris in the backyard, and multiple pieces of damaged or unusable outdoor furniture. Several amenities were poorly maintained, including a broken BBQ igniter and a swing chair that could not be used. The biggest issue was the pool becoming unusable during one of the hottest days of our stay because hot water was cycling into it. While the technician who came the next morning was super lovely and very helpful, we were told previous guests could access and change pool settings themselves, which raised safety concerns on top of everything else. Communication and maintenance oversight throughout the stay were disappointing, especially given the premium price paid. An AI bot is used as a primary communicator in the chat, as opposed to a real human.”

“Gas BBQ wasnt cleaned but worked great. >vinyl Intex pool 🏊‍♂️🛟 The pool, sadly, was a big disappointment. 😕 What was shown as a beautiful in-ground pool in the photos was actually a vinyl Intex pool 🏊‍♂️🛟. For the premium price, that was not what we expected. While the pool does face a stunning desert vista 🌄, the actual swimming experience felt cheap and more like a backyard temporary pool than a relaxing retreat. Now, for the rest of the stay: communication was excellent 📞, the management company was responsive and professional 🙌. The location struck a perfect balance—not too isolated, not too crowded. The house itself had three decent rooms (even if one was a converted garage—still fine! 🚪). One bathroom was beautiful 😍, the other was standard. The kitchen was well-stocked 🍳. The deck area was a bit dated, but overall, we loved the mountain views and nearby hiking trails 🥾. Just be aware of what you’re getting with the pool, and you will be ok.”
