“This house was beautiful and very clean inside and the wrap around porch was amazing! The views are incredible and it was private and peaceful there! We loved the hot tub, fire pits and being surrounded by nature. We had an Unavoidable situation with something in the home and the host responded immediately and took care of our needs very quickly which was very impressive! We highly recommend this home if you are looking for a secluded and peaceful vacation!”

“really excellent location and awesome deck/riverfront access situation. home was pretty dusty inside and because there is so much decorative stuff inside. managers were super responsive to a issue with the hvac and fixed it to our satisfaction.”

“Honestly, if I could give this home a 20 out of 10 I would. Everything was so clean. Instructions for everything was laid out and available. The owner of the property was so amazingly sweet and communicative. Seriously, just because of the owner I would book this place again in the future. I cannot say enough good things about them. If you’re looking for a nice, quiet, and chill spot for a getaway this needs to be number one on your list.”

“These cabins are absolutely lovely, with everything we would want for a family weekend getaway. The area is very pretty and peaceful with a lake to enjoy fishing, swimming and using the paddle boat and paddle boards provided. The host was responsive and helpful to our needs. “Eagle’s Crest was exactly what our family needed for a long holiday weekend. We stayed July 2–5 with our two grown kids, and it gave us the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy being together. From the moment we arrived, the cabin felt welcoming and comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the deck soaking in the mountain views, drinking coffee in the mornings, and winding down together in the evenings. The peaceful setting made it easy to forget about work and everyday life for a few days. The cabin was exceptionally clean, well-stocked, and thoughtfully prepared. It had everything we needed, and it was obvious the owners care about making sure their guests have a great experience. Check-in was simple, communication was excellent, and everything was exactly as described. Mentone has always been one of our favorite places to escape, and Eagle’s Crest made this trip even more memorable.”

“Adorable little cottage, on a street so peaceful that you’ll quickly forget how close you are to Mentone’s main thoroughfare. I was there to unwind and unplug, and felt so happy just sitting on the screened porch listening to birds. South Cool Street is perfect for an easy, tree-shaded walk through the neighborhood. No car traffic to speak of, a fun walk with my little dog, and beautiful foliage: moon flower, hardy hibiscus, huge old trees, and an occasional glimpse of the valley. TV in the living room gets some premium channels, but despite my being addicted to screens including my phone, that screened porch kept calling and I haven’t felt so relaxed in ages. Excellent communication with the host when I had any questions - and thank you for letting me know about the July 4 fish fry at the Possum Emporium! First trip to Mentone and this sweet bungalow will not be my last.”

“We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at this peaceful location. The home had modern amenities while giving a cabin in the woods feel. The beds were so comfortable! Our teen boys loved the kayaks and lake, and the adults loved the huge back porch and hot tub. The host quickly responded to any questions we had.”

“The pictures do not do this cabin justice! Very thoughtfully put together, from kitchen to bedroom and everything in between. Easy to find and close distance to wonderfully quaint little towns with restaurants and shopping. Highly recommended the farmers market in Lafayette (tell the Lemonade Lady we sent you!) and the Wildflower Cafe. We loved the outdoor space as well as the game shed, plenty of games provided inside and outside. The only complaint, if you can call it that, was the coverage the trees provide in the back yard completely obstructs the gorgeous potential view of the mountains across the way. Other than that, the space was well stocked for essentials and the added bonus of gas powered fire ring and grill outside was convenient! We would recommend this place and stay again!
