“We had a great stay at Backwoods Retreat while in the Black Hills for the Dakota Five-O. We had a group of 12 with 8 adults and kids ages 3–14, and the house easily accommodated everyone. The layout is perfect for a larger group. Between the living room, game room, bunk room and patio, everyone had plenty of room to spread out. The kids especially loved the bunk room. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by trees in the Black Hills, and the location was perfect for our event in Spearfish. We really enjoyed the patio—coffee in the morning and the fire and hot tub in the evening. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Trinity was great to work with and very proactive with communication, check-in and check-out, and making sure everything was going well. We highly recommend Backwoods Retreat and can’t wait to come back!”

“We loved Trinity’s place and it was perfect for our large family with all the grandkids. The hot tub was a hit, and the kids loved the community pool. Highlight was renting a Crazy Car for the day and enjoying the trails that surround the property!”
