“The management company was very quick with responding!”

“We stayed at the condominiums at the Chula Vista resort and I will give credit that CVR hotel front desk were helpful and quick to accommodate us with a new room when I raised the issue I’m going to discuss. About 20 mins into entry, my husband and I started seeing bugs. After further inspection, we realized that they were literal cockroaches climbing on walls and in sinks/plumbing, so we packed up and RAN out of that place as soon as possible. I have photo/video evidence of them (dead and alive) in the room which I believe was room 7315. Clearly this unit/condo either A) was not checked/cleaned before posting on Airbnb or B) they didn’t care to try to airbnb out a cockroach infested room. Either way, it was really gross and a scary experience. I should have complained more and requested a refund, but after traveling, I was exhausted and was only for 1 night. There is definitely a cockroach infestation in building D and I will NEVER stay at Chula Vista again.”

“Great place to stay. The only downside was we had 13 people in a condo that slept 14 there was only 8 plates and silverware so we had to go to Walmartand purchase more plates.”

“I wish they had the swimming pool in the building the rooms are in but overall I would rent again Thank you”

“The positives: The space worked well for our family. The layout worked great! Quiet. Nice to have the incuded waterpark passes. Full kitchen was great with kids. The negatives: I messaged the host twice. Both a couple days before the trip asking if there was a crib/pack n play or high chair. I never received a response. Check in was not easy. The front desk could not find my reservation, even with confirmation code for 15+ minutes. The condo building was a little run down. Basic things like paint touchups and loose fixtures that needed attention. The coffee situation... the small hotel pot did not make enough coffee for us and we had to trek to the starbucks. Just a silly hassle, but, as a parent with young kids on a vacation... something to think about when booking! If you are traveling with kids, you will need to bring your own things. There is quite literally nothing extra. Even things like plastic dishware and cups as everything there is plastic. Not bad, just could be better”

“Overall a nice place. We stayed during a colder weekend and the water never got hot. Given this is mostly a simmer resort we weren’t totally surprised. Overall a good stay.”

“The stay was okay overall, but the place could use some updates. The TV is pretty outdated and should be replaced, and the overgrown bush on the patio blocks the view and makes the outdoor space feel less inviting. With a few improvements, it could be a much better experience.”

“Perfect spot for a getaway in the dells. Not only do you have all you need in the condo but the pools, water park, restaurants are all easily accessible.”
