“We loved our stay at Toccoa River Escape. The cabin and grounds were beautiful! It was very peaceful and quiet. We loved sitting out on the deck and listening to the river go by. I would definitely stay at this cabin again and will be recommending Toccoa River Escape to any of my friends and family that are looking for a cabin escape! We usually saw between 5 and 7 deer every evening as we returned to the cabin after our day's adventures. The location was very convenient to Blue Ridge, Ellijay, McCaysville and Copper Hill. Loved strolling through the small towns and checking out the shops and restaurants! Did not want to leave!!”airbnb

“Nice serene place to stay where you hear zero noise except for the rushing water of the river. Very private setting.”airbnb

“The cabin itself was much larger in person than it looks in the pictures. I loved the large bedrooms❤️ We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table! This cabin has every kitchen utensil and cookware you could ever need! The downside was it wasn’t cleaned properly. It had the potential to be the best…The jetted tub did not work. I had to clean the tub myself and vacuum myself. This had potential to be a great cabin if it had been cleaned properly, burned out light bulbs were changed and the spare “king” room/office had a comfortable mattress (nobody wanted to sleep on that bed due to the discomfort…so I took one for the team) The upstairs shower leaks through to the master bedroom on main floor so make sure door is shut securely and towels along the edge (they are aware of this issue). The location was private and not difficult at all to get to, close to town (about a 12 minute drive) it accommodated our group of 10 well.”airbnb

“The house is beautiful. Quiet area, great kitchen and pool. Many sitting areas for a large group to be together or apart, whether inside, on the upper deck or by the pool. The pool area allows for shade as well as sun. Barbecue/bar/TV by the pool is a great touch. The only thing I would say on the flip side is that the limited amount of supplies like toilet paper, dishwasher detergent and garbage bags seems silly. But, we had a great stay- our group of six all had a wonderful time. The home is near the town of Blue Ridge and about 30 minutes from some really nice hiking on the Aksa and MTB trails, and 45 minutes from fun white water rafting outfitters. Definitely recommended!”airbnb

“Myself, 4 kids and two dogs were traveling by car from NJ to TX we really needed a place to just relax and have some time to unwind. I did mention this and asked about swimming for my kids. While it did give that, the atmosphere was not conducive to what we needed. There was a ton of traffic as it sits right on one of their CR. The town is close but almost nothing is open Tuesday and Wednesday. There are a lot of rules which, fair but they felt a little excessive (being run by a rental company is probably why). Communication before booking, which should have been a red flag for me was lacking, after booking was pretty thorough. The home is beautiful and if you are looking for a place to stay while enjoying the towns many rafting opportunities then this is the place for you. Objectively, it was a beautiful place right on the river.”airbnb

“Cabin was wonderful and exactly like listing. Had issues with the gate code but once given a new one we did not have any issues. Pool code was not what was given to us but were eventually able to access pool. Cabin was wonderful for my family and exactly what we needed. HOA is very strict and can be invasive.”airbnb

“The location of the cabin was wonderful- very peaceful right along the creek, the sound of the rushing water constantly was wonderful. The cabin itself was quite nice. As someone else noted in their review, this felt much more like a business than a welcoming space. Rules and signs everywhere warning you of penalties if you didn't comply. However, for so many rules given to us, they didn't hold up their 'end of the bargain'. The grill didn't work very well at all, the floor clearly had not been swept prior to our arrival, some lights were out, the garbage cans hadn't been latched so a critter got into it. I felt the need to report all of this for fear I would be penalized financially. Also, while we were told minimal supplies were available, I hate the hassle to pack extra basic supplies, like toilet paper and garbage bags. It's a nominal cost to provide extras for a cabin in this price range- why make guests pack that as well?”airbnb

“An excellent stay for a peaceful getaway. Can't overstate how fantastic it was to be right on the creek (even better than the photos!); it was perfect for fishing and just being near the water. The cabin itself is very private and very comfortable with a well supplied kitchen and thoughtful, cozy decor. The property management team could be a bit more friendly and inviting (the list of do's and don't's around the property is quite extensive), but the cabin itself was worth it. We will likely be back in the future.”airbnb

“When we got to the cabin there was a smell similar to a river or a lake, a very musty and dirty smell. This was due to the pool having a failing pump, which resulted in the pool developing a thick green film over the top rendering it unusable. The pool was our main reason for renting. When I contacted Cuddle Up, they responded quickly and said they would remedy it by Monday. Monday came and went. Fast forward to Thursday, we had seen the maintenance guy multiple times during our vacation and the pump was never fixed. Multiple shocks to the pool later and the water was finally clear by Thursday so we began to swim only to notice very thick deposits on the bottom of the pool most likely due to the pumps not working. The dirty river smell lingered all the way until checkout and some of my guests complained of rashes/itchy skin from the improperly maintained pool and chemical. In short: not private, pool not properly maintained, vehicles/walkers all day, cameras on ALL PORCHES, not private”airbnb

“Nice weekend getaway! First two days the gravel drive up was BUMPY & rough for 2WD, but I guess we just arrived right when they were fixing. Dogs barking as others noted, but we prepared & brought a sound machine for sleeping. It was only noticeable when we were out on the porch in the evenings! While I’ve used airbnb many times, this was my first experience with a rental company through the site. Resources were a little stingy (only one roll of tp per bathroom, 2 packs of dish detergent, no broom (pet friendly but want everything clean at the end of the stay), A/C locked & wouldn’t go below 72, etc. just made it a bit inconvenient”airbnb
