Crashpads's guest rating of 4.73 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The home in Audubon Park is perfect for my family. Second time we stayed there and enjoyed it.”airbnb

“The host was communicative and I appreciated TV’s in all the rooms. Inside the house was nice. It was a little smaller inside than what the pictures looked like but it was clean and comfortable. I didn’t like the fact that we had to pay $47 for a security deposit but I guess it’s understandable. Aside from all that it is a quaint little house and was walking distance to a few bars, a few restaurants, a Publix grocery mart and a park, which was all nice and convenient.”airbnb

“The house itself was beautiful. However we were supposed to stay and ended up checking out after a day because of how dirty the place was, our neighbors were banging on the walls at 3am, there were bugs in the master bedroom, and our feet were black from walking barefoot. It’s a nice place, it really just needed a good cleaning. It didn’t even look like it was swept or mopped.”airbnb

“After paying on Airbnb, they make you check in on an outside website to get the check in information. They also make you pay a security fee that is 47$ you won't get back or a 1000$ refundable deposit. THE PROPERTY IS NOT SECURE. The front door is the only door with a lock. The property fence has no lock, and the back door that leads into the second bedroom has no lock either so literally anyone could walk into the home with ease. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom is also broken and does not spin The bathroom is clean but the shower is slow to drain, so while you shower your feet are submerged in water. No cleaning supplies is accessible either. No sponge provided to was the dishes either.”airbnb

“The place didn’t match the vibe shown in the photos; it looked older and had issues with finding the location. The restroom was clogged, and there was a strange drain all over the kitchen. Additionally, there were instructions left on a third-party website, Crashpods, which I was prompted to use for check-in. I was also asked for a damage waiver of $ 47 or hold off 1000 dollars, which I paid with no other option. The place was not worth the money, and I feel cheated due to unnecessary third-party involvement, even after the Airbnb check-in.”airbnb

“Never had an experience like this!!!! Check in was horrible pictures didn’t match size. The place was filthy blood and dirty socks in the bathroom nasty shower curtains sheets weren’t fresh and we saw many bugs me and my family checked in late and spent our first couple hours cleaning the place to our expectations to make acceptable for the remained of the evening for the kids (which included washing the sheets and cleaning the bathrooms top to bottom)until we could make better accommodations after explain to the host the place was left dirty they gave a partial refund which felt was unacceptable”airbnb

“Excellent very clan and nice place. Just found the 3rd party check in where I had to upload 3 photos of drivers license and make a $1000 deposit outside of AirBnB not enjoyable. IN the end worked out great but make sure you read the fine print and know they make you go through a bunch of hoops on a third party app before you can check-in.”airbnb

“My family of four stayed here and the experience fell short on multiple fronts. Communication ran through Crashpad rather than a host directly, which felt impersonal and made getting help difficult. My initial post-booking message went unanswered. I requested early check-in and never heard back. Despite a "flexible" 3-4pm window, access isn't granted until exactly 4pm when a code is released. During our stay: the main bedroom fan/light didn't work, someone offered to bring batteries and never did. We ran out of toilet paper and had to find our own. The grill blasted uncontrolled gas when turned on, which is a safety hazard and should be removed if not intended for use. The shower backs up quickly. The patio looked nothing like the listing photos, which appear to have since been removed. The home has potential, but between the communication gaps, unresolved maintenance issues, and listing inaccuracies, it didn't deliver on what was promised.”airbnb

“1. We needed early check in (just one hour) for our daughter’s wedding rehearsal. Since it’s a management team, it felt like we couldn’t get anyone to understand our needs. We had to drive 2 hours to get there so we were at the mercy of when they decided to respond and just had to hope it would work out. 2. Check in process NOT SIMPLE on their website. Lots of details. Heads up. 3. The house is listed with a sofa bed. NO SOFA BED. there’s a tiny futon the size of a small child on the front porch where you’d never leave a small child. Our friend had to sleep on the couch in the living room and I felt terrible for him having no privacy. 4. There are no mirrors in the house (except for strange ones hidden in closets??) 5. Lots of dog hair on the rug in living room. 6. No extra blankets or pillows. 7. The mattresses feel like amazing marshmallows for about 30 minutes, then you wake up with the worst back pain ever! bring your own pillows and blankets if you decide to stay here!”airbnb
