“Great stay at Powell’s Point! We really enjoyed our time at this house. The putting green and small course right at the property were a fun bonus. Location-wise it was ideal: the water park was just down the road, and the beach was close by, so we had easy access to both. The house itself felt cozy and comfortable, which made it a relaxing place to come back to after a day out. Would happily stay again!”

“Nice little cottage. Furniture could be upgraded to match the price per day for renting. Also, there was an aroma of cigarette smoke upon our arrival. Nice fenced in cottage community, however, neighboring street was stectchy / run-down. Driving further toward the Killmaric Golf Club had incredible homesites. Overall, nice stay and just about a 15 minute ride to get to nice stretches of beaches.”

“We had a great stay at OBX. The cottage was great for our needs. We travel with a lot of stuff with small kids and being able to grab the stuff and throw it right into the place was something we were looking for. The one thing we had concern was how far the the pool was going to be located and it was literally in walking distance, a stones throw away. Along with tennis, pickleball and basketball courts and a gym. If you have small kids the location to the OBX H20 water park is within a few miles from the place and weekly passes are optional. We found much more use for the water park than the actually OBX beach because access to the beach isn’t easy, beach hrs are limited and frankly the water was very cold. All in all we enjoyed our stay and the pictures to the place matched the listing. We would recommend it to anyone that wants a quiet low key stay and has all the amenities you need.”

“I will say when I arrived several nails were popping out both porches and my daughter got hurt. Then the kitchen was suppose to be a gourmet kitchen. I even asked what materials they had. What they had was rusty plates Teflon missing and pans and dirty like food still in the pans. Rust running down the shower curtains also none of the tubs drained. There was also mold in the bath room and the light . The floors were so dirty I had to leave immediately and get cleaners and clean everything this place was gross dust caked in vents wrappers under the bed and for dang near 2k I expected spotless. The sent someone to pound nails that took almost a half hour and he still missed a bunch also the did replace pans and towels and shower curtain but for real why didn’t u clean the tooth paste of the bathroom mirrors . For real I was disappoint and when I said it was dirty they said it fine and my inspector passed it wel they need a new job that place was not clean.”
