“I stayed here for 6 days with family. Overall, it’s a beautifully furnished condo with amazing views, a great walking path, and easy beach access. However, the host was deceitful about ongoing building construction. When asked prior to arrival, they claimed work on our unit was finished (true). However, we arrived to a boom lift right outside our balcony and daily construction noise. When asked, the host deflected and told me to ask the building management myself. Signs in the elevator clearly state construction will last through the end of the year. This ongoing project (which started before I booked) was never mentioned in the listing, and I should have been notified during my refund window. A host can't control building work, but they can control their transparency. Despite this, the host was otherwise responsive. Two minor issues: the kitchen knives are completely dull, and the master bedroom shades are broken, replaced by pieces of paper taped to the window.”airbnb

“The one-bedroom apartment was extremely dark, with almost no natural light . The lighting inside was also very dim, which made the apartment feel even darker and less comfortable. Unfortunately, our experience at the front desk wasn’t pleasant either. Alex was unfriendly when we spoke with him. Overall, the apartment did not match our expectations.”airbnb

“We wanted to give 5 stars but because of this we gave 3: We’re on our vacation in Snowmass, Colorado, and were enjoying it a lot until two days ago. We’re staying in Apartment 208 in the Upper Slope Building. A group of young people is staying right next to us in Apartment 207. On Friday night, August 7, around midnight, they threw a loud party in their apartment that went on until the early morning, making it impossible for us to sleep. We tried to be understanding, thinking they were young and just wanted to have fun. However, last night, Saturday, August 8 into Sunday morning, August 9, things went completely out of control. The party was extremely loud, with screaming, yelling, singing, and dancing. By 3:00 AM, we couldn't handle it anymore and called the Snowmass police. We explained the situation, and the officer on duty said someone would head over. Despite that, the party continued unchecked until around 5:00 AM. This is completely ridiculous and deeply disappointing for a hig”airbnb

“We’ve been staying at the Alii since we were kids. I have to say this is the first time we were disappointed. We had no hot water in the unit for almost the entire stay. Also, there were quite a few things that were in disrepair inside the unit itself for the amount of money that people pay to stay there, we expected a little more.”airbnb

“We thoroughly enjoyed the condo. We loved the lay of the place. Peaceful. Only complaint was the host telling us we used too much water. The water came out with pressure, so I don’t think we were at fault. We were four adults who would not use water unnecessarily. Other than that we loved our our stay. A very beautiful place.”airbnb

“The condo was very nice & comfortable. Everything was clean & fresh, and plenty of linens. Kitchen was well stocked. One bonus was the knife block had the same knives I use at home and I was very excited about that! Parking was a little confusing and we had to move our vehicle to a different spot after being told any open spot was good to park in. No air conditioning, so be aware! My husband and I chose this condo specifically for the pool. Granted, in Colorado, storms come up in the afternoons, and we understood that. The pool area was supposed to be open until 10 PM every evening and if a storm came through, it was usually between 4 and 6 PM then the skies would clear and there would be no threat of rain or lightning after that. Unfortunately, management chose to keep the pool closed for the rest of the evening and never re-opened the pool area. This happened two or three evenings out of our four day stay, which was very disappointing. Overall, the experience was very nice.”airbnb

“The home is very beautiful and you can’t beat the location. Kitchen was fully stocked, and the home itself was very nice. Overall we really enjoyed our stay but the pool was not working for us, we reached out to the host and it never was taken care of. I would still recommend someone to stay here.”airbnb

“Upon arrival at the property (Polo Club) we discovered there is massive work being done around the property. There are large cranes outside the villa for painting which obstruct the view. There are also support columns in the underground parking garage which take away a lot of parking and limit the number of spots available. Additionally, there is construction happening in the unit directly below this rental. This is all known to the management company and owners, who did not notify us ahead of arrival. We contacted the management company who offered to help and essentially suggested we deal with it because it's necessary to make the property look better. We contacted Air BnB who provided a 25% credit on the unbelievably HIGH price we paid to stay here...top dollar. If anyone is thinking of staying here I suggest you make sure the construction is complete ahead of your trip...which appears to be months away.”airbnb

“Structural parking garage work underneath our unit was ongoing for two days—continuous cutting, pounding and drilling of metal posts made it impossible to relax inside the unit during working hours. My 83-year-old mother could not find any peace to rest. Additionally, two large boom lifts (for painting) were parked directly outside our unit, so our ocean view was obscured for the majority of our stay. Obviously, the listing’s ocean view was a key draw. Coral Tree misrepresented this listing. As property managers for the condo owners, they were well aware of the summer-long work notices that were posted in the building. A generous cancellation policy was a factor in choosing this listing. If we had known in advance of this scheduled disruptive work, we would have booked another location. Coral Tree only refunded about 10% of our stay costs, clearly inadequate for the amount of disruption we experienced.”airbnb

“Was really excited to stay but due to a medical emergency we could not go. We are repeat customers with Coral Tree but No refund whatsoever, and not able to reschedule. Will not book with them again. Where is the compassion? Are they humans or just computers ready to take the cash. So very very disappointing.”airbnb
