“A very clean and organized place, with plenty of supplies, everything was great, I highly recommend it, I would come back again, I had no problems. Thank you”airbnb

“House was pretty close to the beach which made it great! but there were some things we did not like: we found mold in one of the bathtubs, one of the shower curtain fell when I was taking a shower. Beach towels missing and I think for Beach Houses it’s a most!!! No beach’s umbrella neither and the beach chairs were oxidized”airbnb

“We were very disappointed, it’s an old house, needs major upgrades. Carpet needs changing, noise and smells will come up to the loft. Water pressure in bathrooms is low, the hot water in the bathroom downstairs was in and out. Kitchen is very old and there was a musty overall smell in the house. AC broke down on us during a storm, was only fixed the 2nd day, they set portable AC units but they didn’t do much, the temp in the upstairs bedroom was still over 80 C. We didn’t sleep for 2 nights, terrible. The bathrooms need major updates, they are very old, missing hardware, one of the sinks was clogged upstairs. We paid 3,600 for this for a week, it was not worth it. I feel that the pictures are misleading. Neighborhood is very upscale, yet there is an RV park right behind the house and it’s very noisy, woke up in the middle of the night at times. Pools are very small, round pool was constantly dirty and under construction. Managing company works from 9-5. I cannot recommend this place.”airbnb

“The after hour support was very bad. We were out of dish washer pods and laundry pods and they did not provide any further. They provided only 2 dishwasher pods and 2 washer pods for our entire stay. We requested for additional dish washer pods but they did not provide. We had to wash our most of the dishes during our stay. It was really frustrating. Very bad experience.”airbnb

“Place was really nice! Location is fantastic! There is road construction hindering travel into and out of location. . All the beds were great, but the king bed was a rock. Sofa was very comfortable. Fans in all rooms work great. AC works really good for Destin FL. Parking is difficult as road cones block a lot of the path. Everything was very clean. Had difficulty with Compass and their communication. No one updated on construction which they confessed to being aware of. There is NO way our Ford 250 would fit in the parking lot, beware!! No code to the property gates were provided neighbor helped us. Washer broken upon arrival. Came Tuesday to fix, but was told that evening ok to use. Next day was told it needed parts. Bug guy came by and wasn’t updated on that arrival - not a big deal - just poor communication continued. Otherwise we really did enjoy did time. Just needed better updates/communication. Even with challenges we would visit this property again!”airbnb

“I’ll start by saying the condo itself and the location were great. You can’t beat a ground floor room with easy access to everything. But compass resorts, the company who manages the booking of the room through Airbnb, communication, for lack of a better term, sucked. I sent them a message weeks prior to our trip and never got a response. I eventually sent another message saying “is anyone going to respond to me” and they finally did. Also, on our first day, my family and I got locked out of our building after hours (about 5:45 PM). I called the emergency line to see what I needed to do, and I got the voicemail but didn’t get a call back until THE NEXT DAY. Thankfully the garage gate hadn’t automatically closed yet and I was able to go through there and get to an elevator to come up into the building and get to the front door. Also there are no lights on the basketball and pickleball courts after the sun goes down.”airbnb

“Beautiful resort! My only complaint is the cards were not unlocking the doors...we had to make several trips down to the front desk & security desk for our cards to be recalibrated”airbnb

“Overall, the resort itself was fairly nice—clean, well-kept, and in a good location. We were excited to stay and had been looking forward to the trip. However, our experience started off very stressful. After driving 12 hours to get there, we were informed at check-in that the minimum age to stay was 25 by the host that honestly showed no remorse and as if she didn’t care. This was never mentioned anywhere on the Airbnb listing or in the booking details. Traveling that far with my girlfriend and suddenly being told we might not have a place to stay was extremely frustrating and honestly pretty overwhelming. I would strongly recommend that the resort and host make this policy very clear upfront on all booking platforms to prevent others from going through the same situation. Aside from that issue, the stay itself was decent but the check-in experience definitely put a negative cloud over the trip.”airbnb
