“A good keys vacation”

“The house is HUGE with plenty of space for a large family/group of friends vacation. Unfortunately the space is not boat friendly and desperately needs maintenance. We arrived to the home and multiple things were broken or damaged. The dock sustains severe changes in tide and the pillars are all rotted away with no stability to dock a boat. Upon arrival the TV in one of the living spaces, dishwasher, toilet paper holder, towel racks and first floor entry gate were all broken. Coco plum was quick to have some temporary fixes but not before our boat became pinned underneath the rotting dock causing it to take on water. We spent a significant amount of time scooping canal water off the bait to prevent it from sinking. Coco plum did offer a $200 refund but I wouldn’t risk your boat at this property without significant changes made to the “dock”. Overall a great property if you are not planning to use a boat but would rather enjoy the pool and fire pit.”

“The house was just as pictured and having 2 master bedrooms with a bathroom was nice .. plus the added 3rd full bathroom. Lots of room in the kitchen for us to hangout in (cause everyone does lol). The pool was amazing with a landing inside the pool you can actually set your chair in which my 88 year old mother loved. We rented a boat for four days and easy docking with lots of space. There was 7 of us and lots of space. We all agreed we’d come back !!! Loved it !!!”

“It was a great stay! The place was great, the kids loved the dock and fishing, swimming and seeing tarpon and manatees. Other than the man next door we had an excellent time. He wasn’t very nice at all. But that doesn’t discourage me!! Thanks again for a beautiful place and I hoped i took care of it! Thank you, Lisa”

“Beautiful home, and we really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and a great place for our family. A couple of things to note for future guests: the stand-up paddleboard that was listed was not available during our stay, and the double kayak was missing the drain plugs, so we weren't able to use it (as it would sink). Also, if you're planning to bring/rent a boat, keep in mind that it takes a little longer than expected to navigate the canal and channel to reach open water, which added some time to our boating days. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would definitely recommend this home.”

“Almost a perfect 5 star. We had one issue; one of the master bathroom sinks didnt work. Reported the issue and was surprised someone didnt come out to repair the sink. NOT a deal breaker at all, minor inconvenience. However, 5 stars is a perfect score and at this price point.... having fully functional sinks should be a given. Aside from that, this place is simply amazing! They have fishing poles to use and kayaks and the pool..... so relaxing and enjoyable. Our family needed a chill, private, week away from people and this did it. We barely left the property. Spent our days lounging in the pool and nights relaxing inside or out on the patios/up on the roof. They provide multiple fridges for cooling drinks and a deep freeze for bait. They even had a nice bose Bluetooth speaker to use by the pool. There were some float toys, but we bought a few more and donated them to the house (gold and pink sparkles and the tire looking one). Would for sure visit again!!! (if it doesn't sell!)”

“We had a fantastic time together in this beautiful house! The pool and the views were amazing! The house was perfect for our trip with our dog, he didn't want to leave and neither did we! The house was fully stocked and we had a few great meals on the grill! My daughter and her fiancé joined us for a few days and we had so much fun swimming and relaxing at the house. We will absolutely be back! Our only concern was that there were several times throughout our trip that there were random people (Coco Plum employees?) who entered the property unannounced. Taking out/bringing in trash cans multiple times, putting a hose in the pool with no instructions or notice and sending an AC company to perform routine maintenance inside the property. Granted the house is beautiful and we were there for an extended stay (2 weeks,) so it’s reasonable to expect someone to want to check on the pool, etc…we really just didn’t want it to be a surprise every time, it made us uncomfortable.”

“BUYER BEWARE! The photos of the outdoor space are NOT accurate. The photos display a beautiful, serene space where occupants can enjoy the outdoor space on the water. However, shortly after booking, I received a message that the boat slips were “under maintenance” however this was a minor concern to me since we were not planning to use the boat slips. However, when we arrived we discovered the entire outdoor spaces were not only unusable but were complete construction zones with fencing obstructing views, trash, ladders and complete eye sores. It was communicated immediately to the owner and a resolution has still not been made. I have stayed in many air bnb and this is the first time I’ve ever written a negative review and am very disappointed and dissatisfied by this unexpected and completely inaccurate description. It feels like an intentional bait and switch. Would NOT recommend.”
